  1. Actually I just had a second look at the straps pictured, and only the Honey Brown Gator TWB, the olive and blue BlueRadish, and the BOB Marino out of that bunch get any wrist time.
  2. This one actually is a darker brown, with beige stitching, really nice Here are a couple of pics of two tins of my straps, that I took a while ago. I've added some nice gators since. And of course these are just the left overs, the favorites are on the PAMs currently in rotation (all 25 of them ).
  3. Are you sure you didn't spill a drop of Tequila into the works at some point Man, thanks a lot, I was just starting to feel confident enough to maybe get into the A7750 a bit further. Now I know I'd better put more time into the 6497s before doing any more than a keyless fix or date wheel change But it definitely sounds like something is receiving or applying a bit too much force when in the dial side up position. I'd first examine any gear/cog that is "top heavy" when in this position - maybe there is just enough weight to misalign the teeth ??? EDIT: obviously I'm a complete amateur (I hate the word Noob) at this
  4. Some really nice looking straps here, love the colours - 'specially the cognac, Mario Paci, Greg Stevens, moroccan, and Fiero ones I lucked out the other day. When I buy a watch off another member, I usually tell them to keep the straps, as I'm pretty picky about what I like. But with an 036 I just picked up, I forgot to tell the seller to keep it. Well I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was a different shade of brown than was in the picture, and was a Mario Paci to boot. It had been nicely worked in, but not overly worn as well. I'll post some pics of my current faves once my hangover has disappeared.
  5. Looks very nice, will look even better with a nice gator strap
  6. Nothing beats the Seagull manual chrono version though Just need to get it relumed (along with a pile of other PAMs). Also looking for the rounded buckle that came with the original rep.
  7. Well one major flaw is the movement. That movement was only appropriate for E-G series Panerai, while your case back is an "H" series. So either switch movements, or try to find an earlier series case back.
  8. Perhaps drilling a few "dimples" on the inner surface of the case and filling them with lead That and an Oxi bath.
  9. +1
  10. He has just posted over on RG that they will not be spring loaded. I guess that was asking a bit much, considering the price Oh well, at least we have the option of getting them with a shallow dish.
  11. Spring loaded? And when should we start PM'ng you
  12. Yup bezel needs to swapped, and I may have an extra low profile one if you want it - let me just double check. Also, how is the area between the lugs? No strap dimple is preferred, but a very slight one is acceptable.
  13. I'm definitely down for a bunch.
  14. Nice to see someone does, as I often find myself disagreeing with my own opinions. But that's best left for the psychiatrist's sofa
  15. Just decide which one you think looks best, then buy the one appropriate for your budget. Then start "fixing" the flaws one at a time. Then get completely frustrated, and start all over again, if you can't live with the flaws. Me, I can live with the flaws, and there are so many
  16. Came across this all titanium chrono, with a lovely blue (a la Firenze) dial. I know there is little hope, but one can always try And what, you may ask, is the wrath of Drulee (not to be confused with "The Wrath of Drhulee")? Well just like that irritating five year old in the back seat during long trips, I will constantly send emails, start threads, and just generally be a pain in the [censored]. So ... has it been repped yet? How about now? Is it made yet? Are they making it yet? Has it been repped yet? Have they made it yet? Is it ready yet? How about now? How about now? Is it made yet? Almost forgot, it is a PAM 326, introduced with the "L" series.
  17. So it looks like the 279 is the only one ???
  18. I love that ABP special tannings gator, where can it be bought?
  19. He bought a 113E gen, kept the movement, and is selling off the remaining parts in the sales area of the forum
  20. DSN sells titanium display backs for 176/177 "H" series PAMs.
  21. I guess you can tell I'm not a cat person, or too familiar with movements Is it possible to fix while only going so far as removal of the device bridge? Any further than that, and I'll probably screw something up From a cursory exam of all visible cogs/gears, there doesn't seem to be any damage to them (ie. worn down or missing teeth).
  22. Know him well, I've got his PAM 250 (7753) I believe that's a torobravo CG - friend of Hijack and also member over on RG.
  23. I suppose it would all depend upon how close to the colour of the dial surface area, I could get. But one way or another, those hash marks have to go ...
  24. Tabby or Calico ??? I'm new at this I just managed to fix my A7750 keyless problem, so I figured I may be on a streak and see if this was fixable.
  25. Other site? Come on, you can say it .... RepGeek
