  1. Nice try but it was Japanese not Chinese and it simply means 'Over and out' or in Japanese 'Ryoukai'. Can someone pass the message onto Stephane about the B&R screw. forget that ill email him!
  2. Well seeing my PM has been turned off and im a just a taker and not a giver Can someone please relay to Stephane that always a taker and never a giver 'Ajoe' has sent him a bell and Ross case front screw free of charge as he asked me for one last week. It was posted last week and should arrive soon. 了解
  3. Lani you have put that in a very good and respectful way. Why were we not communicating a long time ago when all this flared up? I agree with every word you have said as you have said it in a respectful manner and i should have contacted RWG admin to see if it was ok. I apologize for any inconvenience/aggravation i may have caused by doing this. Admin you may close/delete this thread.
  4. Id also like to add that I made a comparison to another member 'Defender 110', who was at the same time and still is as far as i know, selling ETA 7750's, Genuine Breitling Dials and Bezels etc. This member is NOT a dealer on RWG but sells multiple movements and parts freely on RWG. This made me very disappointed in the admin as i pointed this out to them in a PM but it was ignored. It was disappointed in RWG as it seems there are different rules for different people.
  5. ok i see, so there are 2 options. Option 1 - Get a sample for this AR Lab and pay full price for 1 sample around US$1000, price for 1 is the same as price for 20 Option 2 - as above but split the cost with 20 members. Another AR coating service is required Chief is busy and Jakob has done a runner. I am being honest in saying we are the guinea pigs, its true. It is a risk, people take risks everyday. RWG is now 100% risk free? come on. Im not intentionally ripping people off or exposing them to a scam. Its AR coating for gods sake! Things could go wrong that all i was saying when i said 'we are the guinea pigs' Anyway enough is enough, Im happy to do AR on RWG despite what feelings i have for admin and vice versa. If admin want this then ok if not then please close this thread as it a waste of everyone's time.
  6. I feel that i have to reply here and that there are always two sides to a story. Ill try to make this brief as it a long story! I was here happily at RWG and was a member of the community here like everyone else. At that particular time I was a student, a mature one i might add im not 19 years old. I was selling watch movements, ETA 7750, Asian 7750, Asian DG4813's. I was approached by the admin about having dealer status. I simply declined as i couldn't afford dealer status as it was a monthly payment and the profits i was getting from the sale of movements were not tat great. I was then told that i had to either become a dealer or stop selling stuff on the forum. Of course i wasn't happy. RWG admin had no clue as to what profits i was making and the actual volume of sales were very, very low. This is a hobby for me too you know not a full time job. Im happy to support RWG via the supporter donation but not via monthly payments for reasons stated above. Back dorr dealing? you might want to explain this. I then listed my own personal watch for sale in the trade section and it was removed. I PMed admin to ask why they reiterated that to sell i must have dealer status. Bu ti have supporter status and its my own personal watch which I am allowed to sell. Admin replied that to sell i must have dealer status. As you can imagine i was very unhappy. I again asked why? same answer, so i said ok, if i cant sell on the forum like any other supporter then i would like a refund of my supporter fee. Around this time i was approached, yes approached i didnt ask for it, the repgeek admin about becoming a dealer on repgeek. I was very surprised and honored but how much did it cost i replied. their reply was FREE! So of course i accepted. THIS IS WHY I HAVE DEALER STATUS ON REPGEEK! Its FREE not because i sell in large volumes etc, i dont have any monthly payments to pay. As for Mike's (TT) 4 chapters of what happened, well he likes to paint a very bad picture and chose his words wisely to explain all the chapters. As for having no clue about AR coating, what are you talking about? Think for yourself why am i starting AR coating? It certainly not for the profit, ask Chief. In fact he has warned me that its actually more hassle than worth! But no i persevere. Jakob has done a runner, he was trusted pfff..Chief has other things to do. I need AR and so do others lets see what we can do for the community, not for myself!. I hunted AR Labs in Australia, some were crap and they had no idea what questions i was asking! I found one and you can see it in the video, id post it here but this forum only accepts youtube video and not other embedded videos. In the meantime i contacted anther lab and they def. know what they are doing! They understood all my questions and can do exactly what we want. So before you say i have no idea what im doing get all the facts. I have re read your words in the 4 chapters and they are not nice, and you are admin of this forum. Have i been that disrespectful to you? I don't think so. Anyway, enough said, if Admin choose to close this then so be it. I have no hard feelings at all for anyone but it seems that Admin have for me, i dont know
  7. Well ill become a supporter if we get support from this forum! EDIT: Just to make things clear, Im in Australia NOT the US.
  8. This one today DSSD makes a sub/sd/ all other rollies look like toys on the wrist.
  9. Gio I have ordered this watch from PWC and will post pics when i get it. Should be here on friday

  11. This is the same movement in our reps, the fast beat 7750. Very good movement on par wit ETA 7750. Of course you can regulate it to COSC, you can do that with a 21J as well
  12. Can you post pics like this so we dont have to click on each photo? Im not really liking this watch but it would be nice to see some pics to make my mind up
  13. What do you make of this? Here is the full link http://forums.watchuseek.com/showthread.php?p=1547711 Look at this picture of a Seagull ETA CLone, Hangzhou clone and a real ETA Please pay special attention to the auto assembly gears. Apparently there were an easy tell between Clone and real ETA, now i think not......
  14. Yes a point and shot casio, dont recommend it as a usual camera. It is nowhere new as good a a fujifilm i had before
  15. Before reading members advice a few days ago on taking pics, my pics looked like this Crap i know, not bad but crap compared to other peoples pics of their watches So enabled with my point and shoot piece of crap casio exilim, dont buy one as a point and shoot i think they are rubbish, i went to the coffee table near the living window where there was lots of light. I set the camera to auto focus, not macro, set it to the lowest ISO setting which was 50 on my camera. I have a very small tripod, i paid $2 for it so you can imagine how small it is, set the camera on the tripod, set the 2 sec timer and shot 3 pics of my APROO secs at 12. I then downloaded google Picasa Using Picasa tools, auto contrast, sharpen, highlight, shadows and fill light my pics have now turned out like this. Excuse the dust, i forgot to clean the watch Now all along i thought it was my camera as i built a light box and everything. Me thinks not bad...
  16. It wasnt always like this. A couple of years ago swiss ETA in a rep meant Swiss ETA and at around $150, now its $350+ and its not even Swiss
  17. You need to wake up and smell the coffee By a so called swiss ETA from the 'trusted' dealers on here and other forums not BK or eurotimez and see if you get one, id be surprised if you do
  18. I was just looking through the trade section and came across a member who was interested in a watch that was for sale. The watch had an Asian ETA 2836 movement. One member replied saying they wanted to buy it then..... The same member replied saying 'Sorry, Im backing out as I thought it was Swiss ETA' I was surprised as I thought most people already knew that most if not all so called Swiss ETA 2824 or Swiss ETA 2836 movements that we find in our reps today are Clone/Copy 2824/2836 movements. Why do people even bother to pay the extra money to get the same movement as the cheaper Asian ETA version? Are you trying to kid yourselves into thinking that it is Swiss ETA and the Chinese wont copy ETA movements and stamp them ETA? They already do it with the Asian Clone/Copy version why not pass these off as Swiss ETA? no one will be the wiser. I actually don't think its the dealers fault either, they are just buying stock from the factory, its the factory that is telling the porky pies (lies). No dealer has the time to check all movements. Oh but some will say that 'Eurotimez' checks all his movements and they are Swiss ETA. Maybe he does check them and can guarantee that they are Swiss ETA but he is one dealer in a haystack of dealers, and ALL of them claim to sell Swiss ETA - Whats going on? One that caught my eye recently is the new avenger Seawolf that dealers are selling. Supposedly Swiss ETA at $378 plus postage. http://www.tt88time.com/index.php?main_pag...roducts_id=3764 I would bet a pretty penny that that watch does NOT have a Swiss ETA in it! So why do people still continue to FUSS over Swiss ETA? If you buy a rep advertised as Swiss ETA 99% of the time your getting a CLONE/COPY ETA Here are a few pics of the so called clone movements that I have. These ones dont have the ETA markings and as per the ETA Gen/Copy guide they are copies but well you can make your own mind up!
  19. Not only Dial feet and hand sizes but also the 2892 is a much slimmer movement and you have have stem re insertion problems as the stem hole will NOT line up with the crown tube hole. Really why bother The asian movements are GOOD!, they are workhorses and last a long time compared to so called ETA movements in our watches!
  20. Thanks guys @Admin I cannot EDIT my OWN thread! Can admin please edit the thread for me so that the videos show up in the original first post. Also is admin aware that we cannot embed other videos, only youtube?
  21. I have just realized that you have a HBB Tuiga, thats a closed case back model, i wouldnt bother putting an ETA 7750 in there, no one can see it! and that would be the whole point of putting a ETA 7750 into a HBB as you would want it to be more genuine etc. With the closed case back, the hassle to get the ETA 7750 and add the necessary parts, I'd stick with the asian 7750 thats already in it!
  22. It can be done but finding someone to d it will be the hard part. ALso you have to have the parts as well. HBB movement is basically the ETA 7750 with minutes at 3 oclock BUT When moving the minutes to the 3 oclock position with transfer gears, this adds height to the movement therefore the subdial pinions need to be longer. The seconds, minutes and hour gears will have to come from a donor asian slow beat 7750 movement of the same configuration 3,6 9. The minutes and hour gears are a piece of cake to install but its the seconds that will cause problems as that involves complete dis assembly of the movement and as you have to swap the seconds gear from the donor Asian 7750 to the ETA 7750 that means complete dis assembly of 2, YES TWO movements and then reassembly. A very time consuming process! The date wheel and date wheel assembly from the donor movement will also have to be used I think thats all thats involved. My advice, dont bother. The Asian 7750 is a good movement, not the older crap ones but the new fastbeat ones. As good as ETA according to The Zigmeister!
