  1. Still this one today, since it's dead sexy.
  2. see part 2 for a super close up of induction heating of steel ingots, and forging the cases
  3. WOW what an unusual piece! Thank you for pointing it out, and thank you to the dealers and factories who take chances like this on risky pieces.
  4. Perhaps the adhesive weakened the plexi enough, that the stress lines in the material had an opportunity to become stress fractures.
  5. You must mean the crown beneath the crown guard ... there is no way you actually mean the regulating lever beneath the swan neck. It sounds like you have pushed your keyless works out of alignment, which is a simple fix.
  6. That is a NoobFactory Ultimate version DeepSea .. just ask for the latest version.
  7. The last time I worked a polishing wheel was 17 or 18 years ago when I was but a lad I put a satin finish on my wedding ring, and then changed my mind a few weeks later and re-polished it.
  8. I'm not advanced enough to have bought a dremel or polishing wheel yet. I use Cape Cod cloths.
  9. That red strap combo is hot and I don't even like this watch.
  10. King Watch is one of the oldest trusted dealers. Buy with certainty.
  11. The Flying B is a massive watch which commands attention. Chronoluvvv: Show him a good 3/4 view of the white dial on leather ... or if you like, I can dig it out.
  12. Im glad to hear you are all safe, But don't envy your work to repair the damages.
  13. You're welcome! If you are having a problem with a watch fitting under a shirt cuff, then have someone alter the cuff size for you .. or wear a french cuff.
  14. This forum has a PDF of the classic watch repair handbook already online. Go to this thread and look at the BOTTOM, where I'd posted it to Google Docs. The original link at the top of the thread has expired. Go to Google Here
  15. BKLM1234 is his user name here, and he runs BK's Watch Garage .. look for it in the forum listing.
  16. I like it, and if it wasn't overpriced I'd get one. They'd have to first push the insert in, tho.
  17. Bravo. Looking forward to it.
  18. That is the Vacheron Constantin Overseas white dial, non-chrono ... and that is the rep! Isn't it nice. Talk to Connie King! Or Pro-Watch!
  19. A.L. & S model 1815 ... comes in white dial as well .. note the double spring barrels. The movement manufacturer says 80 hours, and one member here claims 86.
  20. I had no idea that anyone made a rep of the "bubble back" display back from Glashutte. The Senator Sixties (shown above) should have one, but it does not. I cant tell if the rep you are showing me has a sunburst dial, like the rep I showed you.
  21. W-E takes awful pictures .. looks like 100% green fluorescent tubes set to "BLIND ME" strength. I wonder if WatchEden photo studio is in a Wal-Mart bathroom ?!
  22. If they have discontinued the silver sunburst dial rectangular Crazy Hour, then your option would be to buy that watch in any strap color and any dial .. then replace the random color strap with a nice gator, like Gran did in the photo above and Mod in a Gen silver Crazy Hours dial bought in the after-market.
