  1. I won't go into details here, but will on private messages only. If you bought from grid recently, please PM me!!!! Thanks
  2. I have a V2 Skyland and a Gen bracelet from Concepta. Perfect fit, no issues, no bending springbars.
  3. I would send it back as a local watch smith would most likely charge min $50 beans to look at it.
  4. If any of you guys with swapped dials ever want to sell your watches - PLEASE, please PM me. You can also find me on RG (over 5000 posts )
  5. Man - you might as well try to get the Face and the AR done at this point as you are 90% there for a fraction of the cost.
  6. I think I just threw up a little bit
  7. Not so overpriced! I bought an air 2 weeks ago for $650 on CL and there were 3 more for less then $7Beans. Just need to know where to look !
  8. CEO of Mobile advertising company. I need to talk to the payroll guy as we have nothing but trouble with ADP.
  9. I would not even place that on a canal street wall. Here is my contender - The Lumux Pandemic It even comes in yellow - Woot ! (Check out that precision crown guard - LOL)
  10. Great question meatwad! Thanks meatwad. Do you have an answer for me meatwad? I sure don't meatwad, maybe someone will actually REPLY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks guys
  11. ? for you lumeheads - Should a good lume last all night? Not beta powered tritium, but the new stuff? I have have 2 gens (both around $1300) and about 10 reps. NONE of them last more then 10 min. Never really read up on The Zigmeister and what have you, so I a Noob in this area for sure. Any idea how long a gen Brit SA should last (in the market for a dial or a lume)?
  12. for the 2 times I though I would be called out I said: "This is the rep of the gen I have at home ". Of course it did not hurt that I was in a custom suit. For close friends, I just put the watch in their hand and they don't ask any further - 99.99% still think reps are a fantasy "Polex" from canal street. ALSO Here's a man tip: you def have to match your watch to your dress or your asking for trouble. For me it's BCE with a suit / SOH on rubber with golf attire / SA or Skyland with Jeans and a jacket / Skyland or SO on leather with shorts. I dont have the balls to do an SA with a suit yet (not that I could get it under the cuff).
  13. OK - so much like all SA reps, the lume dots on mine are like little anthills. Of course the dial can be swapped with a gen (for about the price of the rep itself) or maybe a relume. As I have no issues taking apart a watch or working with very small precision tools - I was thinking about shaving the lume dots with one of my tiniest files. Has this been done? Is this part of a standard lume service for an SA?? I searched " Shaved lume dots" but had no hits. I put this to y'all to see if I have slipped into madness or if I am correct in my assumption that it can be done and look good. PS - I have a whiteface - numeral
  14. On the bright side, the watch did not give him Swine Flu, shoot acid in his eyes or spontaneously ignite (but only by a small margin given the pics).
