  1. Sorry, don't know about Noob fac.but these are better than present Noob
  2. Gens, i made some quick comparison on PAM127 V6, ZF and gen. In my opinion, both reps has many flaws. Which one is better for you, you have to decide. ZF font is too thick while V6 font is too thin. CG spacing in both reps are larger than gen CP better on V6 Distortion.. well it very much depend on camera, lightning and so on,but reps both are very similar and gen has less distortion L SWISS letters are more accurate on V6 but still it could be different angle, but i check that on few pics and V6 seems to be better Lume collor is wrong on both but V6 has more closer color CG engravings both are wrong but more accurate is V6 CG pin is wrong on both (don't have to be polished), but V6 has it in center CG lever also wrong on both , but V6 is more correct, but still needs reshape Minute hands are wrong on both but ZF is more correct here On the back Bots reps cases are incorrect shape. On lugs too, so needs reshape regulator on movement is wrong on both reps, but +/- engravings are better placed on ZF So to my own opinion, both reps are great, but both has many flaws. But they are small and probably visible only with gen piece compared in one hand. Piece!
  3. Hello Gens, wanted to compare PAM217 as well V6 vs ZF vs GEN as there are similar pictures to look at. Both models V6 and ZF are really great, but which one is better for you, you have to decide. Just wanted to make some points where to look at. In any case, both versions has many faults but without gen piece next to them, you won't figure out that it's a rep. But ofcourse there are some clear flaws that you can see quickly. DIAL: - For me lume shot it's a bit closer to gen on V6 than ZF (ZF has more greenish) - all prints and numerals are great on both just PANERAI print are in wrong height on both models - CP is better on V6 as it's polished, on gen you can say it's not polished but there are other pics that you can see clearly it is. BACKSIDE: - the most visible difference is little horns on balance wheel. On V6 and ZF they are in wrong position like on straight in gen piece. - OFFICINE PANERAI letters are too bold on both - Screw is better on V6 as it's flat - Case shape are wrong on both reps. Gen is more curved and better finished. BUCKLES: - PANERAI word are in wrong height on both models and engravings are better in ZF but it's hard to say,it can be lightning CROWN GUARD: - Lever finish is better on V6 - From first point of view it can be that on reps CG is bigger than on gen. Spacing is clearly visible between crown and CG. Gen has less space. - REG. engravings are in wrong position on both reps PROFILE VIEW: - well this is bad, because rep cases are thicker than gen. It could be the same on PAM127 V6 and ZF. - Pillow shape is also different,so case needs reshape. - lug bar hole is better placed on ZF The choice is yours. Thanks
  4. Hello Gents, not posting much here, just more reading, but lets start with a longer post over here This is very special project for me. Never thought about the project like this but i was thinking what to do with esdee Type F as i really don't want it of cali dial. But there is not much choice here. 3 pcs dials won't fit and regulars 1 pcs dials won't look right here. Was thinking to put rivet dial, but still it needs deeper ring. Then Kiefer dial came up in my mind. Still it was too thick so shaved it down a little and got a perfect match. I saw a pic for a gen kiefer with slim case so wanted something similar. But this time i wanted something different so i took very small extra detail (Rolex crown) which gives something more special on this dial. The i though, i really don't want to paint that dial, so figured out what to do. Brainstorm was just to leave it with some aging techniques and just put it away for a month or so. And results was amazing! coloring of that dial is just gorgeos that's why i took same pictures with black and white shadows. you will see that bellow. Holio lume was applied on a white paints and was aged a little additionally to get a little yellowish. Same i did with that case. i even forgot that case is outside and it came super rusty so i had to make a restoration to it. Actually few times. Then reshaped all the case, slimmed down CB a little and once again made a restoration. You will see all the progress bellow. Same as on the dial i wanted some more tiny details on case itself so i have engraved small Rolex crown on display back and bigger one on solid back. Hands.. well Hour hand is from NZ (as minute hand never came up from post office), so i took binbin minute hand, heated and relumed. Strap..well this is amazing part. Very special from my friend Alexa. This is true history, smell, look and feel. Super comfortable, vintage rivets, very old and very special buckle with 2 metal pins. Movement, well known 616 with fine ROlex engraved bridge and removed sub sec pin. Runs like a charm. Watch is very simple but that gives so much unique look. Enjoy the pictures and i hope you like it as much as i do All the best G
