Looking at your pictures i can't believe I'm looking at a rep Which dealer did it come from???
-
If you want to see what the gen vs rep TT looks like, I just sold mine on RG. Go to the for sale section and search "116713"
-
every gen i have seen has the #'s the opposite of yours mate... sorry
-
Josh/Perfect Clones, Andrew/Trustytime, Puretime, etc...
-
Yes there should be an extra "tick" just after the "1" of the "10" on the top subdial if it is a v2...
-
God damn it this thread make me want to get a Daytona... I have never been able to get myself past the movement issues of the seconds at 6...
-
date alignment appears to be off... other than that looks good to me

Looking for a TT Oyster Bracelet for a Sub with solid gold (ie still hollow midlinks, but not plated or wrapped). Has anyone bought an aftermarket one and if so from where and how did it work out. I see one HEREon the bay but not sure of the endlinks on it... any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
-
Ask yourself what you would want ti do if the shoe was on the other foot... not saying he is right... but everyone makes honest mistakes...
-
Also if any one has any input where you can get a second hand rolex online that is relatively safe please let me know!
-
Thanks for the input... also found this one out there for not too much more... http://cgi.ebay.com/ROLEX-SS-18K-116713-M-MENS-GMT-CERAMIC-WATCH-PAPERS-/280514187175?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Wristwatches&hash=item414ff2cfa7

to each his own... not my cup of tea... I will be waiting for the 1:1 PO, then no doubt be disappointed with the happy feet, or He valve, or weak AR, then end up getting the gen
-
x2... after all at the end of the day no matter what you do to the watch it will still be a REP!!!
-
I also believe this will be over priced... to have true super rep status I think x2 AR is a must, along with the happy feet fix and the globe engraved on the case back... I think we might be in for a disappointment on both price and features... but here's hoping
-
I seriously doubt any new YM from the cartel can top the BK/WM9 YM... but I could be wrong. If you want a true master piece I recommend saving for the BK/WM9... if you don't want to spend that kind of cash on a new one, check the sales corners as they do come up from time to time (how I got mine - worth every penny!!!)
-
Have you ever seen such a level of QC in repdom! I am impressed !
Feta1 replied to alvinado's topic in General Discussion
Finding a dealer who consistently QC's is like a needle in a hay stack... I remember when people use to rave about Euro T's QC.... sigh... -
It's hard to find a better dealer than Josh!!!
-
+1 on the breitling SOSF... I have the swiss white dial on black rubber... perfect for every day wear...
-
The Zigmeister could certainly work his magic and I have heard good things about Rex over at RG...

Whats wrong with some common sense and courtesy!
Feta1 replied to Migge's topic in General Discussion
Mike I hear ya about common sense and courtesy... i recently had a similar experience, but on the other side of the spectrum... I'll explain as I think it goes well with this thread.... There are several watches I have been looking for. Last week a member PM's me and says he has one of the watches I want. Now this member is NOT a noob, if fact, I know he has made some great contributions to this forum and is a regular poster. So I get a price quoted north of $575.00 USD. I tell them that is a little more than I was looking to spend, but send me a few pictures (how many people would not want to see pictures when you are possibly going to spend well over $500.00 on a rep?!?!?). So a few days go by and a get no response. Thinking that maybe they did not get the PM, I send a separate PM letting them know I will be away for a few days but please send me a few photos. Again no response. A few days later I see the watch up for sale in the Sales Section for $170.00 LESS then what I was quoted and by the time I saw it it was already sold!!! Please keep in mind although I am not as well versed as By-Tor, The Zigmeister, TT and some of the other senior members, I am by no means a noob. I have been a member of RWG for almost 4 years and have supported the site via upgraded memberships for most of that time. I have also donated to RWG outside of my membership when the forum was hurting for money. Now don't get me wrong, I am not complaining that the watch was sold for $170.00 less then what I was quoted... I understand that everyone has the right to sell their watch to whomever they want and ask whatever price they want. What bugs me is that all I asked for was a few photos (nothing specific) that would be required to sell the watch anyway in the Sales Section, but because I did not get a response I missed out on a great piece Had they just sent the photos I am sure we could have worked out a price between what I was quoted and what it went for in the Sales Section. I understand people's issues when it comes to selling watches (esp to noobs - I have sold over a dozen of mine on this forum and have had to deal with the zillions of questions, and requests for this and that) but I do think there needs to be more of a balance with buyer and seller. Had I just gotten a reply that said "Here are the pics and I can offer to you at price X. If I don't hear from you in 24 hours I am going to post in on the Sales Section" I would have bought it... all it would have taken was a courteous reply BUT stuff happens ... I hold no ill-will to this member, and I hope they understand that. If this is the worst thing that happens to me this weekend I will consider myself a lucky man!!! I feel much better now Have a great weekend RWG!!!
