I agree but he is a killer, what made Connery so good was how suave he was and yet he still looked like he could actually DO the job.

He would be a good shout, Connery was Bond, part of the character will forever be woven to him in a way that no other will ever rival, that said Daniel Craig reclaimed a bit of credibility for the movies after some woeful actors playing the part. Bond should be someone who you believe could be capable of kicking your ass when you watch the film, Moore? Brosnan? really? I actually enjoy and look forward to the Bond movies coming out now, Daniel Craig plays the part very well.

A friend has one of these and he loves it. As lazarini says, lenses are the bit that can make a huge difference, in you case though I think the kit lens is made by Zuiko and they are supposed to be superb. Very good move buying it.

I just don't like the markers at 6 & 9 on these, makes the dial look unbalanced to me. I think I'll stick with the old one.

Its not a huge job but it involves removing the movement, removing the hands and dial, putting the legs of the omega symbol through the dial and securing with a tiny amount of glue. Then its all back together. Unless you know a rep friendly watch repairer, I would think it would be easier to send it back to the dealer. If you are thinking of having a lume job or a service done on it, might be an ideal time to give The Zigmeister a shout.

It holds in place and allows adjustment of the regulator arm of the movement, as far as I know anyway.

I would take it to a watchsmith (not an AD) and ask him to have a look, parts might be a potential problem so he may not be able to fix it. Worth a shot though. Your other option is to contact The Zigmeister, he's kind of like the A-team, if you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find him, maybe you can hire........The Zigmeister. No idea if he is busy or even taking work at the moment.

I think you have adjusted the beat rate, unless I'm mistaken (happens often) you will need a watchsmith to recalibrate it for you.
