My 1680 white for the office today

It looks like the clark one has more of a magnification.

what is the magnification of cyclops like? If its 3x then it could be gen. I ve got an aftermarket crystal on my 1680 and the cyclops is only 2x so that is why I want to upgrade mine to a gen crystal. I am hoping that this will fix the problem.

I would send it back. I had my eye on that one too and that is not what I would have expected. I would not be happy at all with the item.

How do you warn the buyer that he or she is not getting what they think they are getting? What can be done about this? I always wonder what Ebay does to protect buyers. As 15k is alot of money

Thanks Cats. I think I will look for a gen. I bought a white 1680 with a gen 127 top hat and it looks fantastic. I ve just picked up a MBW Red Sub and want to upgrade the crystal myself and was looking at options. And I have to agree that nothing beats a gen crystal and insert. Thanks for the input and I shall buy a gen one. Much appreciated

Hi I ve been on the bay and Clarks has no auctions up at the moment. I would like to replace my acrylic crystal on the MBW 1680 with a new one. One that has the proper 3x cyclop magnification. I would go and buy a Gen crystal but will that fit on the MBW case. Also what are the wholesaleoutlet acrylic crystals like? Is the cyclop magnification correct? If I can avoid buying a gen crystal and get something for less that looks as good as the Gen, then that would be my first option. I would have liked to have gone the Clarks but have had no luck. So if anyone here has a spare one lying around and would like to sell it to me please let me know cheers MJ

Thank you guys for all the advice. For now I will leave it and when it really starts to annoy me I will take her down to the watchsmith. I dare say I am not yet skillful enough to have a go.
