  1. Hey Brian, welcome...here's the link to the forum's trusted dealers.. http://www.rwgforum.com/index.php?app=links&module=links&section=categories&do=view&cid=3 I usually get my watches from other dealers from RWG's sister sites, but these guys are good as well.
  2. Looks awesome. Can I ask who did you get if from? Is the case too thick?
  3. Im in the same boat. I have an older white dial exp II and I wanted to replace the case, bezel and crystal. the dial I have is very good. it has the correct black markers and lume is above average than most reps. I contacted this ebay seller and is willing to sell just the case for $45 shipped... good enough or a bit expensive? http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320544000286&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT My expII is only a 2813.
  4. hi guys, i have an incoming LV and basing from the pictures sent by the dealer, the insert needs to be replaced or I need to shave the insert for a better fitting. How should I go about this? Should I remove the bezel entirely by prying it or is there a way just to remove the insert? Thanks
  5. Sometimes if pays more when dealing with "smaller" dealers. I bought a bunch from Andrew (great service) until I tried a new one, Mary of Watch International. I think with smaller dealers, they QA the watches more thoroughly since they have more time compared to big time sellers. With bigger sellers, they just trust their contacts in the factories and thats it. Of course, just my speculations.

    Wow

Just found out this weekend that watchsmiths/watch sellers in the flea markets are way better in spotting a replica than an AD...
  7. Thanks! I just found out that the gens is 12.5mm thick. Not sure if 16mm is too much...
  8. Follow up question as I'm about to order this, is the gen really 16mm thick? I can't find any info about this, but the case is 42.7mm. Close enough to the reps 43mm. Just not sure about the thickness. Thanks
  9. Thanks Lani...for days I've been contemplating whether to get a UN or not! I've been staring at the Maxi Marine pics and it really does looks awesome. Gotta cancel my Tag order and have it replace with a Maxi Marine! Thanks again.
  10. I've always wanted to get me one of this, but I have a small wrist (6.5 inch) and since the UN Maxi Marine is 43mm and 16mm thick, I don't think it'll look good on me...
  11. I bought the Orange dial and I've been wearing it everyday for a month now and still looks great. No chipping on the crown guards! Only downside is the SS bracelet is too big for my wrist (6.5 inch). I've already removed 4 links and still loose. I ended up giving it to my brother and I'll just get a new one with the rubber strap.
  12. I completely agree with you. I'm the one who wants my wife to get a Rolex. She actually wants a Cartier Chrono Must 21, but can't find one in the trusted dealers websites. I just thought she should also have a Rolex since I have one...
  13. Yeah I was looking at the pictures from dealer sites and most of them are a bit off...thus for my hesitation... any recommendations for a good Rolex Mid size rep apart from YM?
  14. LOL...I actually have a yachtmaster, but not with the Rolesium dial and she finds it too big for her wrist while a normal ladies watch with <30mm is too small. So I guess the midsize would be perfect! Also, how's the quality of the midsize YM reps? I know for the full size, BK is one of (if not) the best reps out there, but I don't think he has mid sizes. Any advise from owners??? Thanks.
  15. Hey gang, I'm thinking of getting my wife a Yachtmaster, but she's not a fan of ladies watches with small cases. Just wondering if the mid size version will look good on a ladies' wrist? Thanks.
