  1. Thanks for the pics guys. I have a normal v2 skyland with grey dial. I thought about a maybe light brown ammo strap...hm
  2. Hey guys, i want to get a new look for my Skyland and i i got the idea "why not buying a new strap for the baby" i really like the look of ammo straps on panerais an i was curious if anybody has a picture of a breitling on an ammo strap? and since i started a new topic anyway: do you guys know where to get a good, decent ammo strap? i know the various strap dealers, but personal reviews would be awesome.
  3. Ok thanks guys, i'll give the floss a shot
  4. Well, dental floss would be an idea, but i'm not shure if i can fit the floss under the bezel. Swapping the bezel would be the best option
  5. Hey guys, i just got my skyland case replaced(cause the crown/tube) was broken, but the new bezel doesn't fit as tight as the old does. Is it possible to swap the bezel from the old case to the new one?
  6. Ok thanks guys, i'll go with the 005. And i'm sure it won't be the last
  7. Hey guys, it's time for a new beater on my wrist and as i went by the local watchstore, i saw some panerais and liked them very much. In fact, i think i want to buy a pam005 or pam104. So the big question: which one? The 005 doesn't have an automatic movement, could this be a problem? Any suggestions?
  8. hey guys, i have a small problem with my UPO. I'm wearing it on the rubber strap and I absolutly love this watch, but i looks like to me, that the springbars won't fit very thight and that one day, i might loose the watch. I installed new springbars, but since the holes for the springbars are not equally drilled...well...i have a bad feeling about this. What do you think? Am I too paranoid and the strap won't come off? Are there any tricks or ideas how i could make this baby more stable? thanks
  9. i checked the datasheep of the Ronda 515 on the internet, the battery seems to be correct. Also regarding google images of the movement, the battery is correct installed. the watch was sitting around a long time, but i can't see any signs of corrosion. just tried two brandnew 371 batterys, no reaction looks like something's wrong with the movement
  10. Hey guys, I'm sitting over a little problem here. The watch is a KHS Navigator MK II which i used to wear in my time in the armed forces. Anyway, since bought in 2007 the battery died. So i got a new 371 battery, placed it in the movement(RONDA 515) but nothing happens Am i missing something or is the movement broken? Thanks
  11. Damn i can't edit my post anymore, but an idea came in my mind. sometime ago, i ordered an iPhone from UK to Austria. Since this is not possible, i used a borderlinx created adress in the UK. So the AppleStore(UK) sent the phone to the UK adress and then, DHL sent the phone from UK to Austria. Wouldn't it be possible to send the watch from Austria to UK, then foward to the USA/Canada and back from there to the UK and then to Austria. I don't know the british law, but it looks like their customs are not so strict like the ones in Austria. So if this _would_ work, it would be all well. Any idea if this could possible be a plan?
  12. Would be very interested in this too since i may have to ship a watch to the US(and it has to get back too) and i don't want any troubles with the customs.
  13. I'll do so, but the main problem is to source screws that have the right dimensions and look exactly/like the gen ones. Maybe i'll buy some that are not so close to gen until PT is back in business and i can buy the lever unit. We'll see
