  1. Datejust on a white strap (strap is not genuine, of course):
  2. I will also note that frankly, the TAKA crystal with Domi's AR is superior to the GEN crystal.
  3. Yeah...I felt like the case set, as well as the original purchase, was a little too much. Especially since the original purchase only had an A7750 in it. Yeah, that "character" definitely caused a lower price. Wow, at 50, there is no way I would have gotten gen springbars...after all, non-gen springbars will hold up just as well, and there is probably no way to tell that the springbar is non-IWC without a very close inspection.
  4. Original purchase - €385 GEN Dial - USD100 GEN Handset - USD195 GEN crown & tube - €200 GEN case, caseback, pushers- ~€490 - I paid €490 for the case set, including crystal and caseback. The crystal and caseback went towards another build. The crystal IMO is probably the biggest cost, so I'd say this was probably closer to 300 than 500/ TAKA crystal, AR'd by Dominico - Came with original purchase TWB alligator strap - Came with original purchase GEN IWC 21mM springbars - USD7 Either Rep or GEN IWC buckle - Came with original purchase Swis ETA Valjoux movement - Original came with A7750. Harvested from another rep (where I swapped in a gen movement) ETA Day and Datewheels - Same as above Assembly, with speedy G, cost me $70, since I waited to do everything at once.
  5. Should mention that the gen dial is from the IW3713-43.
  6. Haven't seen too many of these: GEN Dial GEN Handset GEN crown & tube GEN case, caseback, pushers TAKA crystal, AR'd by Dominico TWB alligator strap GEN IWC 21mM springbars Either Rep or GEN IWC buckle Swis ETA Valjoux movement ETA Day and Datewheels Hardest thing was acquiring the dial and the handset.
  7. Recently bought a watch (on this forum) with a gen Omega 1120 movement. The movement loses about 1 minute/hour, around 20 minutes/day. What could be the cause of this? If something was hit during the shipment, what could it have been?
  8. Another piece of diagnostic advice, there is a sound difference. Slightly higher frequency of noise when the loops are stuck together, or perhaps I am just imagining things.
  9. While I like this advice, the force I applied was light enough that if the watch couldn't handle it (Valjoux's native shock absorption), I would have a whole other problem.
