  1. To me and as opposite as Wolf i prefer aftermarket strap than OEM, specially coze of the thickness than i find not enough with OEM and because i also think OEM are too smooth, too perfect or dressy maybe, hard to explain... For StormTrooper i agree on the amazing quality of ABP (the price is amazing too ) You can see one like you like here: http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/152978-pam390-on-18-different-high-end-straps-no-reps-no-rubbers/#entry1174104 Honey special tanning, special serie for the French Paneristi and it's the softest croc/alligator strap i ever seen (i know it coze that's me who sold it to Rogerthat ).
  2. The main question is how the hell a verry bad rep like the one shown here: http://www.rwgforum.com/topic/130314-sold-panerai-marina-militare-titanium/ could have been bought 218€ ?
  3. That's a sweet combo!! I pm'ed him about his awesome MX buckles but since they are only sewn in it was too late for my new strap... Damned!!
  4. Thanks guys For infos the price was 120€ including buckle & tubes (shipping also but we're in the same country^^)
  5. Hi guys, On my 005 i have a black strap & white stitching from Gorilla, i absolutely love it but i wanted another one to switch with, an other colour, something more "summer" strap And for a long time i litteraly drooled over my keyboard watching the blog of Septimus, a french strapmaker. He makes straps just on his free time so he produces limited quantity but after few emails i got lucky & received this beauty 2 weeks after the 1st mail!! I hesitated a long time due to the price so i search for this tint in every strapmakers but never find it.But since this 005k is definitely a keeper, i said "f..k it i'm gonna spend the extra $$ in this Septimus, i want it!!". And let's be clear, i'm in love with this one, the honey color, the differences in the tint, the reflections in the sun, the stitching, etc .. And the funny part is i now get more compliments on my strap than on my Pam Just a bracket about straps:After getting a Kain Heritage strap for my Pam i made my mind to never buy again this kind of straps (Heroic18, KH, etc...) i always had a deception when i received it, it's indeed good straps but IMHO for the price you can have some really handmade straps (lot of verry good strapmakers here on the different boards). Now the pics:
  6. I usually don't like date cyclops on watch but i have to say that dial is freaking beautifull (and rare) !!
  7. Nice chef !! You know that sweet PVD case & awesome caseback beg for the new 005k dial right ?
  8. Nice belt for sure ddebo !! A little "bling-bling" for me but it looks good anyway
  9. Hey congrats man, now you can really start enjoying this beauty
  10. Man that sucks, i hope you won't be waiting too long to have it back on your wrist.
  11. Ok guys, i know you have seen a lot of new 005 pictures this days but i received it this morning ans all i can say is...Wooohh ! I still own a 005G fully modded (see in my sig) and side by side, well the 005G looks like....a rep ^^ Seraphe has posted beautifull pictures of the new 005k so i wanted to show you just few details who make this new rep a keeper. First an overall view, no much things to say on the dial, i have waited a long time for a perfect logo & now i have it. I'm sure there's some small flaws about the letters or the placement of something etc... but to me it's verry, verry good. Then the cg + crown, the space between the crown and the case is not a major issue IMHO and on my wrist i can see a little bit of the hex tube. The cg has a perfect fit with the case, not a small gap & the overall finish of it is pretty amazing, nicely brushed & the pin is polished. The crown is perfectly center with the cg and i have a nice gen click when the lever meet the crown. And the fact that it's springloaded me like it! Again a nice gen feeling when you open/close the lever. Like Seraphe said in his review the lever is a little bit floppy, but on mine it's hard to desengage the lever, the lever is floppy just when it is fully open, it moves a little bit from up to down but not floppy from left to right. Compared to my Toro cg honesty i definitely prefer this one & the roller ball is a "plus". And the two other major improvements of the Hublot factory are of course the AR & the lume. For the AR i believe it's single sided like the gen, on my 005G FineDD made me a double sided & in comparison i still can't decide which one i prefer, may be the double for now but after few days in the sun i will make my mind. But of course no blue reflection, it's just the dial appears less black with single sided. For the lume, again...Wohhhh! It's a torch, i will see tonight & tomorrow morning the last of this lume but for now the intensity is verry good. The lume shot: The wristie: And the two in one ^^: The conclusion is obvious to me: it is definitely a keeper, no mods needed for now, maybe a serviced hi beat A6497, make the lever less floppy ? In fact i didn't open the caseback so for the low beat movement it's what the rumors said about it. Thanks for reading it & comments are welcome, now i'm gonna enjoy this baby for the rest of the day, cheers all !!
  12. I'm not an expert but i have some doubts regarding the 2 last pics. I thought they were wider and the lume was going further toward the tip on Pre-V hands. But Let a pam expert confirm this.
  13. Verry nice tx, your 005 rep was pretty good but i can see you moved on to a gen. Damned i hope the new 005 will have a logo like this...Come on it's not so "hard" to produce ^^
  14. + 1 babola The only "perfect" logo dial was the 000 run back on 2006, but for the 005 not one was close, i know it coze i have the better 005 dial right now and every time i look at the logo i see the flaws so fingers crossed ^^
  15. Yepp, good news and fingers crossed also for a "perfect" logo on the dial, it would be the first one for a 005.
