  1. Cheers alligoat! Genuine dials make a big difference, its true. If you have the chance to get a gen dial, I would strongly recommend you do, even if it means picking up the watch and other parts afterwards!
  2. Thanks Sir-Lancelot, the movement is solid, and keeps very good time I don't actually recall the issues with the other movement version, but who would look so close, as to see the hand stack anyway? Or even know to look? At least that was my way of looking at it
  3. As per my earlier thread regarding my Submariner here: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=68284&hl= This is my is my Rolex Explorer II.... It has a genuine dial and superlumed hands, but not the correct hand stack, I prefer the more sturdy movement, over a small detail like hand stack order A few quick pictures! I really love the white dial and SS bezel, there is something special about it I think. Comments welcome! Cheers!
  4. That looks great! Perfect for the black dial version too Thanks for sharing
  5. You really are a grumpy individual As for getting spiked, I will leave that to you. You are probably an expert in spiking drinks in your local bars anyway.... Lighten up, you will live longer......
  6. When you say "we" who else are you refering too exactly? Also taking that sentence you posted into consideration, there is a hidden irony there....... Anyway this LV sub I heard mention of, is it the best sub? If not who has the best one?
  7. Hehe, don't worry I understand you there 100% The comment was directed at another forum member
  8. Don't second guess what I would or would not do or say..... As for the imagined personal vendetta against you, it simply does not exist, you are not worth it..... My views are posted above, no need to re-type them......
  9. Funny thread Seems there are members around here without any sense of humor, what a terrible affliction to live with, for all the people that know them!
  10. Sometimes I find people difficult to understand Dani are you reading the same threads as everyone else? There may be a % of people that agree with you, but I suggest it would be a very small %
  11. That is a great price I have seen one HBB with PVD case back here: http://www.timeshops.net/Hublot_Big_Bang_B...0__999-3262.htm Could it be the same watch?
  12. Great stuff With dealers like Watchmark too, the price may end up going down some more. Although the biggest factor would be when people simply stop forking out over $1150 for a HBB rep.....
  13. Well the way I saw it was that he was trying to list it as something it was not, classic misdirection attempt. If he had listed it as a HBB lite with PVD bezel and aftermarket AR for $550 delivered, I never would have posted..... Price is secondary for the most part, in my opinion. If it is listed with too high a price it will not sell, too low and it will be gone before you can finish your PM It is the descriptions of the watches for sale are the most important thing in the sales threads. Add a high price to a misleading description and you have a bigger problem..... As czarczar said: Thanks czarczar and to the other members who have PM'ed me, or posted, with your support, I appreciate it very much EDIT: it seems Dani has just gone through the other thread listing my posts, and that of other forum members, and rated them as "SPAM" Dani I think you need help, take a valium or something
  14. Looks like a possible deal, but why risk it? Who the hell knows those dealers? Trustworthy or not, scam site? Stick with the dealers on the board, if they do not list a watch you want, email them regarding it
  15. It is unfortunate that chads original post is not there, as you would all be able to see exactly what he posted in regards to the watches strange decsription..... As for my first reply in the thread, I would not consider it a thread crap. I only posted because of his misleading description of the watch. If he had listed the watch for exactly what it was, with the same price I would not have posted at all, because other buyers could make an informed decision and clearly see what they were buying.. In my first post I actually say it is a nice watch and put a smiley at the end Also out of the four PM's I sent in reply to the six that chad sent me, none of them were rude or contained any name calling, swearing, insults or the like. When he called me a liar, I chose to back myself up with the PM's he had sent me, I had no other option, maybe I was wrong to do that? What else was I meant to do, just sit back and let him call me a liar, when that is not true and I have the proof to hand? As for his insistance that the PM's are out of context that is simply not true either, I think chad must have been confused with all the PM's he must have been sending out and receiving, after all I only sent him four PM's....... If I see a strange misleading sales post, I will reply in it, if I have the knowledge of the watch being sold and the cost of the parts and mods etc...... My post will be polite too, just like the one I posted in chads thread was, before he blew the whole thing up in his own face. I did not post out of personal malice towards chad, like he seems to think, he made it personal when he got mad and started shouting all over the place and then calling me a liar..... His PM's to me on the other hand, were anything but polite.....
  16. Thanks for posting the wristshot. I will be chatting to Mark regarding a HBB sometime in the future I feel
  17. Well as the grain is there, then that is even better! Sometimes is can be hard to pick up on the small details on the dial. Using a flash or natural light can help, but a flash can also show a watch in a very unflattering way... How about the obligatory wrist shot? PS: Please feel free to PM me those other photos
  18. That is a hell of a lot of watch for $420 or so, especially when compared to the other, more expensive version available Thanks very much for the pictures, the first I have seen of this watch on the forums from a buyer The only thing I would add is that the CF dial should maybe have a grain to it I think, but I am not 100% sure if they all should or not. There are so many variations of the gen... Congratulation on a sweet watch, the AR'ed ceramic HBB has just become a lot more affordable EDIT: Also the movement itself looks more accurate, with the regulator, rotor and general finish etc....
  19. That is indeed great news, congrats Watchmark! Maybe you could celebrate by offering us RWG forum members a special deal/offer on a watch or two?
  20. I missed watchmarks updated post, good to see he is active on the board Why are you asking questions you already know the answer to Francisco? All the info is in this thread (I just re-read it) There are two versions of this watch from two different factories. One watch costs up to $780 (and much more on some dealers sites) and the other costs $405. $780 http://www.timeshops.net/Hublot_Ceramic_Be...oating_1213.htm $405 http://www.timeshops.net/Big_Bang_(RG_Cera...0_1137-4736.htm Not too tricky to grasp Now for a saving of over $375 I think a few flaws can be lived with Or if you want you could spend $1168 on the same $780 watch.... $1168 http://www.bigbangworld.com/index.php?main...;products_id=10 I know I would not spend $1168 on a watch I could buy for $780. The saving between the same watch from the different dealers is $388! Hell the saving between the $1168 watch, and the $405 watch is $763 I think we can agree that $763 is not small change to most people, nor is $388 for that matter..... Cheers!
  21. No not all of them are like that.... Where did you find that photo? Which dealer? The dial seems to be missing the grain texture on the dial.... Can't really tell from some of watchmarks pictures, maybe some of the slow beat versions are like this?
  22. Not any more so than the newer high beat 7750, at least that is what The Zigmeister says.... Both 7750's should run like champs after a service, that was the general consensus
  23. Could be just the blurry photos, they both look like they could be bold to me..... Better bold than the incorrect thin font DW's the other HBB reps use
  24. http://www.timeshops.net/Big_Bang_(RG_Cera...0_1137-4736.htm Tada! Now listed at $405 too, what a steal!
