Hello, I think also its a nice Sub... Overpriced of course... The Tube and crown are not Genuine but ok... for the claspengravings,you are right not so good,bad maufactured... Rehaut,dial, datefont looks good to me... All in all a good Sub RG Tribal

Yepp, it's the one from Luenfat.. I think looks good,not the best datewheels but for the 1680 it works fine.... Not the flat one but only the silverdatewheelshas the flat three in real... When Rolex serviced your 1680 you become mostly the newer one in white with normal three Rg Tribal

Ever the same story... The first one you show has the biggest flaw you can have... The Date is to far on the right side... But i think for the money its a good choice... The second one has the right date allignment,but you are right datefont is terrible also the Magnification... Hope this helps RG tribal

Hello friends, after i saw Sherringtons Red Sub,i asked him if he changed the datewheel of his Sub, because its much bolder as from factory.... He told me that he changed it witch one he bought from the bay.... I remembered that i have bought one too in the past... Ok so I decided to change the wheel too.... I had an spare movement and an spare Sub 1680 Dial here,so i could built a whole new movement. i glued the datewheel on the movement,fit the dial and the hands... ..and thats the result I think looks much better than the factory datewheel... What do you think... P.S. Thanks Sherrington for the tip

Hello Friends, an other project is done.... I want to have an old style Submariner with Non-SEL.... There was nothing on the market,thats the reason why i build this one by myself... For the case i took one of my old MBW cases with lugholes... I installed a Eta 2836-2 with new datewheel with open 6 and 9.... I take an spare dial (this on is incorrect because it must spell Swiss T <25) But i don`t find the correct one... Drilled out Lugholes,installed Gen Tube and crown,refinished the whole case also the Cg`s... New insert... And thats the result.... RG Tribal

I think looks good. Great job... By the way it`s not only the datemag, i think.... On the most reps the datewindow is to small,thats the reason why it look sometimes a little bit weak... When the datewindow has the right dimensions it looks better. Is there anybody who has modded a datewindow to the right dimensions? I think that makes a big difference.... What do you think? Rg Tribal
