Hello Friends, an other project is done.... I want to have an old style Submariner with Non-SEL.... There was nothing on the market,thats the reason why i build this one by myself... For the case i took one of my old MBW cases with lugholes... I installed a Eta 2836-2 with new datewheel with open 6 and 9.... I take an spare dial (this on is incorrect because it must spell Swiss T <25) But i don`t find the correct one... Drilled out Lugholes,installed Gen Tube and crown,refinished the whole case also the Cg`s... New insert... And thats the result.... RG Tribal

I think looks good. Great job... By the way it`s not only the datemag, i think.... On the most reps the datewindow is to small,thats the reason why it look sometimes a little bit weak... When the datewindow has the right dimensions it looks better. Is there anybody who has modded a datewindow to the right dimensions? I think that makes a big difference.... What do you think? Look here i paid 89 Euros for this.... Good Deal i think They have alot of boxes also wtihout display and only for 12 watches. Look on German ebay under Timarhane... Hope this helps Randy... RG Tribal

I think beware of the decorated Nickel movement. They have flaws!! I bought a Sub with this movement,after a few weeks its broken... Rg Tribal

I think there is enough place for everyone here.... The one who is really interested in reps will stay,other count in take a look and than they are gone... I collecting reps for many years,but i've learned a lot more since i found the Forum...(modding etc...) Thats great and many thanks for that... It's a great community and i love to read and write here... Thats my opinion... RG tribal

I must agree Namor.... When you have a unique piece you can`t count with normal or comparable prices... If you love some of those pieces it's hard to count in money.... I think when you not a dealer there is no reason to tell a price.... Lets go Admins,change the rules... RG Tribal

On a Vintage Sub the bezel rotate in both directions. When you think its rotate to easy make some tape on the bezelwasher.... It's an easy fix... RG tribal

Mmh, too much i think.... The Dial is very sharp i think and has a correct datewindow.... Only flaw is the swiss made by six.... The CG's where shaped ouside and inside a little bit... I take cobalt drillbits and drilled by hand,to polish itake my dremel and agood polish... RG tribal
