does he need 50 straps of the same make/dimensions/etc or 50 straps regardless of brand/model/etc.? i'd be down for:- 1) 1 black allligator with black stitch for IWC 3717 2) 1 green alligator with black stitch for IWC 3717 3) 1 black alligator with black stitch for Pams 4) 1 tan alligator with black stitch for Pams (depending on tan colour tone) 5) 1 AP ROO strap, if available. if its 50 straps regardless of brand/etc.

where can one source for the WM9 inserts.? as i understand TC doesnt sell his inserts on its own.

hey guys, i decided to take a leap of faith to order a black seconds@9 or zenith daytona. pretty much as a "get-to-know" the daytona as i'm considering going down the path of building one of those frankens daytonas. like Daytona1984's build: http://www.repgeek.com/showthread.ph...ranken+daytona been doing a lil research the past couple of days, &have gotten the following conclusion in regards to the REPs:- 1) much more reliable then the seconds@6, due to the lack of extra gears. 2) mainly inaccurate as the sub-dial spacings are further apart as compared to the GENs, even tho there have been reported inconsistencies with the GENs in terms of sub-dial spacing but not to the extend of the REPs. 3) also inaccurate due to the presence of rehaut engravings or the ROLEXROLEX engravings on the metal just above the dial like most of the newer rolex models. but being that these zenith daytonas are pre-2000 models, the rehaut engravings should not be there. that being said, i have come across afew which dont have the engravings&i'm not taking about those who built the franken versions with phong cases, gen parts&all the fun stuff. those i saw were dealer models BUT they could very have been sanded out after being purchase. - i stand corrected tho, as i'm not completely sure either. anything else i missed out.? also, just like to see who else has them&how's your experience with them so far. please feel free to post comments&pictures if any. i will do a short review once i've received the watch. cheers, all!

only thing to note about the 212, 213, etc. they're mineral crystals. but the newer H or Noob factory models claim to have a thicker, domed crystal as compared to the V1. &i havent heard any complains or rants about the newer crystals. but u shld knw this. @ephry: u'r better off ordering a full watch&parting it out as parts for these watches are few&far between. or u cld get GEN parts

i may be wrong.. but the kuvarsit one is the best amongst all that has been released so far.. if u dont mind spending a lil bit more, u could PM orloff for his version of the asso strap..
