Why can't the movement be replaced with a swiss movement?

Maybe someone can enlighten me: Why can't a swiss movement be swapped for the asian movement in the HBBs?

I'm in for one of these! I have the 187 with a chinese movement and it is the only watch I have that will not wind on a winder, plus one of the markers fell off!

Anyone know if the marker problem will be fixed on the next generation. Also, if the date font issue with it sitting too low beneath the dial going to be fixed?

You can get the stem tap 10 at ofrei by calling them on the phone. They are not on the website. Ask for the V72 stem tap 10. $6 each.

What I do in these situations is I ask the seller to place a pieces of paper with the item listing my name and the date. Place the paper with the item and take a pic and e-mail me the pic.

If he is willing to do this, you have a 99% chance of getting the item.

At least then you know the item exists.

I am trying to figure out which twinlock 6mm crown I need for a V72 Daytona case set. I am trying to build a 6241.

On the bay they have 6mm crowns and tubes, but some ads list for Datejust and some list for Explorer. Are they all the same in terms of tube size to fit in the case set?

I will most likely buy the 6mm tube and pushers from Ofrei.

Are all 6mm Twinlock Rolex crowns all the same?
