There has not been much going on in terms of new releases of Audemars Piguet I recently saw that Pure time released a extra thin anniversary edition: https://puretime.io/watch-brands/audemars-piguet/royal-oak/royal-oak-39mm-15202-ss-jf-1-1-best-edition-blue-textured-dial-on-ss-bracelet-a2121.html It occurred to me that the biggest tell on the royal oaks is really the open case back, so why not just replicate the vintage Jumbo, that had a closed case back? This would be the easiest to replicate as it has no sweeping second hand, and the case back is closed..... Why oh why do they not offer these? Oh well enough rant for now. thanks for looking in. Also I see a lot of watches made with Asian 7750, is that a good movement? Thanks

Hello All, Normally I am more active on the AP side of the forum, however I decided this time I would try my hand at doing a custom build. However it is not as easy as I had anticipated. So I would like some help if possible?! I believe the cheapest way to make a custom build is to get a cartel 6263 and then get a Gen dial. Now here is my problem. I bought a Gen dial, however i believe the dial is the wrong dial for the case I have, also I am based in Europe who should I talk to about having the dial inserted? Also Should the techie bezel be Black or silver with the dial I have here? Many Thanks TK

So whilst browsing my trusted dealer of choice this morning I came across an new model that I had not seen anywhere else. The Royal Oak Chronograph in 41.5mm. check out the link; http://www.p-cls.com/0aproc02002-royal-chrono-ssss-black-os20-quartz-p-15798.html The movement is stated as quartz, I have no idea why they would offer this as a quartz, but the overall quality looks good. I would like to hear some opinions as to overall build quality and if you guys hope like i do that we see a automatic version soon! TK

very nice collection. wear them well. I think that the real difference is made with the right strap. I had a Gen 44 novelty.... great watch, but no strap options, if you want I have a GEN leather strap for the 44..... no buckle.

I have never tried for rolex parts, but I hear you can get things on a few forums easily. @sardonix; Thanks, you are right! Gen buckle and Strap set me back over 800 Euros, but look at the difference! thanks guys for the comments! TK

After a long wait I decided to pull the trigger on the MH AP ROO! Its a stunning watch to look at. It has all the normal AP rep flaws, however due to the reflective date wheel area it really does look gen! Rounded chrono pushers help. However on receiving the watch the worst part of it was in fact the strap. A dead give away. Like all AP reps I have to say. So off I went to my AD and demanded a original strap. I was then informed that without the watch I could not order the strap, i needed the reference. I was stunned. I don't know if any other members have had the same problem but living in EU its becoming a problem. No matters I requested it anyway and the woman at the AD knew me so in the end it was not a problem. so enjoy the AP MH on a GEN clasp and a GEN Strap. The strap does not close 100 percent on the watch head.... hope you enjoy. TK

Hello all, I am looking to have a RB 2 built from the ground up by an expert. I saw that someone had a really nice looking RB II made up. I am looking to get a watch (located in the EU) and have all the extras built in. Is there anyone who can point me in the right direction of who to talk to about faceplate mod // lume and original AP deployment strap? - I am also open to buy someone already custom RB 2 if you are located in Europe in fact any franken(ish) APs I would buy.
