  1. Angus' pre-order price was lower than Josh's & Andrew's Current prices as far as I know.

And I have never heared of Joshua buying the watch, he only showed the maker pictures and so on.

Angus is stealing nothing from noone, in fact me (& other members here) found it not very nice from Andrew&Josh to act like Angus has done nothing and deserves no credit.

Angus has done a great Job with this watch. period.

I agree 100%. Angus was great to deal with, and him keeping us all in the loop when it came to finishing touches on the watch was great. And I think all the comments, from the other dealers ie/ Andrew and Josh was uncalled for.

  2. Obviously No, I've got mine, and there are no "bad finishes" on this watch. Loose hand the result of a rough transit delivery, not the watch quality. Loose screws are the result of sloppy assemblers, can happen in $100 watches. I agree with what Wan said above.

I couldn't agree more I'm more than satisfied with my HBB I've had to issues with lose screws or movement problems. I think over all it's a great watch that I can't take off my wrist, all you guys sitting on the fence you're really missing out on a great rep.

  3. Hi all just a quick review of my new HBB came in the mail today from Angus - Puretime. All I can say is WOW :Jumpy: This is an amazing rep the fit and finish are excellent. I don't have the biggest wrists but it sits very comfortably, the strap looks and feels great (the clasp is beautiful and sturdy) keeping great time so far  the hands all line up perfectly for the chrono. All in all a great watch which is definitely getting plenty of wrist time.

  4. Hi all I'm posting some pics of my rose gold HBB (ordered from my man Angus! :1a: ). Forgive the quality I'm not a photographer by any stretch of the imagination. All I can say is the quality of fit and finish on this rep is amazing! I'm absolutely in love  I don't have the biggest wrists in the world but it sits very comfortably the rubber strap looks great, the hands on the chrono all line up perfectly and so far it's running great! I more than satisfied I know this one's getting plenty of wrist time.

  5. I can't comment on the SUG but I have a Louis Bolle I bought on the Bay. It's a Gevril Avenue of America's/Frank Muller lookalike it really hasn't gotten much wrist time but it a solid looking watch for the money, keeps great time, definitely could pass (without close inspection) for a much more expensive watch. Just my 2 cents I'd say take a chance on it would make a great beater.

  6. Acually since I got in on the pre-order with Angus the price I got was quite a bit cheaper than both Trusty and Joshua (when you factor in shipping) and it should be getting here anytime now. So while you guys keep bragging that you came up with the whole idea, do you even have pics up yet?

  7. I agree with many of the posters here I think Angus did an awesome job organizing the pre-order and getting feedback from many of the members so the finished product would be one of the most accurate yet. Without that communication with RWG members alot of stupid flaws would have been missed that would have ruined the overall product. Because of that, and Angus keeping us up to date with the project with pics every step of the way I bought from him and have absoluely no regret whatsoever, I don't care to save 45 bucks but have a dealer who wants to take all the credit but do none of the footwork. To me customer service is worth something. That's why for up-coming reps Angus will be my dealer of choice. Just my 2 cents.

  8. I'm with TVT here. I've had 3 Asian 7750 die within months. Sure, the can be serviced, but then I'm spending $600 for service on top of $600 for the watches. That $1200 buys me a very nice, albeit used, Omega Speedy, a SMP, a nice new Tag, an inexpensive Breitling. All of them work out of the box. And if they don't, someone backs them up, no questions asked for a couple of years.

    Think of it this way...

You buy something that is brand new(car, guitar, bike are the three I'm familiar with. Pick something). In order to use said "new" thing reliably, you have to spend up to 2/3 of the original price of the thing on service. Think about it, a rep with an Asian 7750 costs about 300, to get it serviced another 150 to 200. You wouldn't spend that on your new car, new bike, new guitar...you name it. It seems foolish.

Hey Bro I think your line of reasoning is flawed. Many of these are replicas of watches most of us can just dream about owning, so to have an exact 1:1 copy of the real thing (for the newer reps like the HBB) is really a dream come true and a real bargin, even if you have to factor in servicing. In my case I own several Asian 7750's with no problems or complaints, now I know many have had issues (it can be a crapshoot without any QC, but same problem can happen with gens, read any watch board and see all the issues people have with a so called moderate brand like Invicta who sells many crappy watches above the prices we pay for decent quality reps) I still think all in all the reps availible to us are a great value and a way for Joe average to own the watch of his dreams (better than drooling on the display case of your local AD.) Anyway just my 2 cents.

  9. I think he was saying the Slytech is his favorite. I mean he does not specificaly address it but I htink that is what he was saying.

Yeah I agree, they had a short interview with him in Details magazine about the new Rocky film. And there it was plain as day on his wrist the Slytech guess that's his "daily beater".

  10. Hey all, I'm absolutely in love with my 1st rep purchase a Pam 177-h from EL. Now that I've been bitten by the Panni bug I'm contemplating my 2nd purchase I like some feedback in making my final descision. I'm debating between the 2500m diver from Eddie Lee and the Slytech from Trusty does anyone own one or both of these? Which is the better looking, more accurate ect. Thanks in advance.
