  1. Worst case if its not good you don't have to buy it, I just picked up a 3.5 from PT and everything looks fine. It all comes down to the cartel no being able to source watches from the NF, and because of that anything noob that has to be procured directly from the factory these guys are out of luck. I guess the old saying what comes around goes around.
  2. You missed it, it was on ebay for all of about five minutes and then vanished to sunny FL.... I was asking a fair price of $400 w shipping so it went fast...
  3. Mabye I got lucky.... When building my last 1675 I had no issues fitting multiple gen parts on the watch, he was very easy to work with and even gave me a better deal on the case that orig quoted. But this is good to know as I considered few other cases for future builds.
  4. A seller on VRF and TRF had many for sell in varying conditions..... Look there
  5. #115 and counting the days until qc pics, watches will be ready in one week for the first batch
  6. not sure what happened to the first two, I must have hit effects on my camera by accident....
  7. Here's a few new pics, all polished up and new bracelet installed... I hate to say it but the 7836 just wasn't cutting it, was the weak link for my build and very flimsy for gen. I lucked out on this NOS 78360 bracelet with some 580's in good condition. For around 2k it would be hard pressed to find this watch in gen form (condition wise) for under 5k, I think I can find a good way to spend the rest although the 1675 is my all time fav and if I found the right gen I'd be all over it. Whatcha think???
  8. Just got my 78360 in today, popped on the 580's and this thing is showroom clean like in 1979...
  9. That pearl and DWO look very gen-like compared to the BP... I agree in terms of looking the part from a few feet away the BP is good, however, the finishing touches of the noob show a much better build quality. If they could just tweek the insert and dial/markers they can have what we all strive for "The Best Sub" ..... Very nice....
  10. Sorry bud, its not a 1655 case but a lightly aged Phong case.
  11. No PCG on the Rootbeer, it wasn't introduced until the 1675-16750 casesets went square. Any that you see are a mixture of parts from multiple watches.
  12. I hope the noob maker gets the ceramics right after CNY, the new BP maker is nice but still a ways to go. In regards to the TC's get one if you can, the quality is out of this world.
  13. He has his own custom crystal not the clarks, and the overmag is due to the gasket he is using. I swapped my TC LV crystal with a GEN and it looks great now with no issues.
