How's the carbouchon color ? Is it dark like the original ? That's been the problem with Cartier reps, my Santos 100 XL carbouchon color is too light , a dead giveaway when you look.

My v3.5 from Toros was good enough for swimming. I asked and he said it was waterproofed from factory. Its a Noob factory watch I think. Only issue was the bezel screws were flush with the bezel and not recessed like the ori. Otherwise, great watch.

Any recommendations where I can get a Santos 100 Chrono WITH the correct color carbouchon ? Most of the sites I've been to (Pure,Toros, Trusty..) show pics where the rep has that light blue color carbouchon rather than a deep dark indigo . Dead giveaway on casual inspection if you ask me. Thanks

Hi. I coughed up $480 for an "Ultimate" Cartier Santos 100 Chrono. Only to find that the carbouchon on the crown is that sickly light blue color (which should be a dark indigo on an ori) which is an immediate give away even on casual inspection. Can anyone here tell me where I could get the proper colored carbouchon or even a replacement crown with the correct color ? Hate to give up an otherwise great replica over a simple thing like that. Dead giveaway if you're paying attention. The one pictured above seems to have the recessed bezel screws - is it the V4.1 ? On a related note, can anyone tell me how I can mod the bezel screws so they are recessed slightly ala Ori ?
