You've got a 2836-2 in a TC ??
That's interesting...I though he used the 2824-2 and SW200's for correct crown height.

Excellent finding a gen insert for 35 bucks.
I've got a couple of them...Black and the Blue and din't do anywhere near as well as you did.
And if it's not gen it's the best darn looking pearl mod Ive ever seen

Gen parts arent that much. Just like anything you have to shop around.
A gen 3135 for 1500.00........and it runs.......where ??

That's interesting.
In my opinion the Best way to a Franken is to source the parts you're wanting to use on your own.
Then either build it yourself or send it to one of the Forum expert modders.
It may take alot longer but it's well worth the time and efforts.
In the end you'll know exactly what you have.

Great looking pics here....enjoyed the read.
I've been watching the 216570's since they hit the market.
No doubt they've made some improvements along the way.
To me, the first thing I notice (and everyone else likely does too) when I look at the watch is the date.
(a magnifying cyclop over it tends to draw attention)
If they could just get that damn date centered and aligned I'd likely pull the trigger on a Black one.

I know nothing about the Daytonas and such....is the marker at 6 position supposed to cover up "Swiss"..??

Yup...cyclop issue as well as date wheel font not centered.
Tip of the minutes hand is a tad too "stubby" and crown height indicates eta mvt.
Coronet isn't centered under the 12 marker..........
It looks very nice indeed...but it's not a gen

I've went to Rubber too.
And I was using a Rubber B until these came along.
Vulcanized like the Rubber B but with a "floating" SEL for better comform.
Don't get me wrong...the Rubber B is nice............
.......but these are nicer for half the price
