  1. Had the same issue...PBdad shaved the Dial and/or can mill out the case.....
  2. Good luck with everything! Getting old is not for the weak that's for sure...god speed everybody!!!
  3. Thanks for all the input!! i was aware of the MBW cases, should have listed them as well....my bad! Are there any other case options beside the usual suspects...(mbw,yuki,NDT,phong)...
  4. Gentlemen! I need some expert advise on a project of mine: what is the best case set to accomodate a gen 1665 white SD Dial (also all other parts like crown+tube, plexi, bezel assembly etc). i am looking for something other then yuki, NGT, Phong...(which means cheaper...) Any hints?? Thanks for all your help and advise. Cheers! PS : if you happen to have a case set for sale i like to hear about it...Thanks! oh i forgot: i like to use a ETA movement.....
  5. @ Daniel:I was about to order a dial from Minh. What dial did you get?
  6. Best sales pitch i ever read! LOL. GLWS.
  7. Hi great looking watch! In regards to the dial with the lume dots coming off....i contacted ingod and he wants a picture of the dial...i will get that for him and we will see...i will keep you guys posted. Sent from my GT-P6800 using Tapatalk
  8. Good news again , Thanks! The watch has a gen insert ( service i would think) What pearl would you guys recommend for this? leave it alone or change it? Different insert all together ? Vintage maybe? I ordered a 5513 and a 1665 DRSD from ingod. First thing out of the box , the lume dots on the DRSD dial fell off. So i am not to sure about Ingods quality. Any other recommendations?
  9. Good news! Thanks.
  10. Look what they say over in the wonderful world of vintage rollies: http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=129529 questions is if that applies to MBW as well....
  11. Well, ZK , the old hand, The watch is with PB right now and he was concerned about the plexis changing over or not. There is also talk about some old MBW 1680 actually being stamped 5513 between the lugs The other problem might be the dial size: 1680 is 26,5 and 5513 is 26 mm if i read correctly. However i know by personal experience that this 1680 case does not accept a gen red MK IV dial without having to shave it.
  12. Hi guys! Quick question for the resident vintage experts: Can a old school MBW 1680 be turned into a 5513? Can the plexis and dials be changed over without major problems ! Has anyone ever done this? Thanks for your help!! Cheers Robert
  13. SSD and 16610 LV (haha!) and 1680 /1665 5512/13??? Thanks!!
