  1. Thank you for advices and answers. You guys are great. Still however i don't know which one to choose, maybe Silix one, since you recommend it? WatchEden has bigger choice, though bigger does not mean better, well, not always.
  2. I don't have genuine DayDate in yellow gold. My model is basic stainless steel Air King, seriously i've seen some rare rolex dials costing more than my entire watch, to be frank (i mean crown collection ones for 3000 dollars). And i know that 100-150 dollars won't buy you identical watch as this costing 15000 dollars, just only i can't think about spending 400 bucks for a rep, because basically you could buy some used Omega for that. Also, if i want this watch to be a perfect reproduction, or should i say, very close to the original i would mod it, like many of you do. Back to topic, interesting thing is that several watches costing $62 each have obvious differences between them. On the one the logo is incorrect, on the other one - it's correct, on the other one markings are wrong, on the other one good. If i would pay 140 dollars i would have better quality replica than this for 62? Do you know some dealers selling reps for that price?
  3. Good idea, interesting, well, buying cheaper replica and then replacing dial and/or other parts sounds to me more sensible than spending 300$ on a replica. @specialvat - nice one you've got here. About the silix one you've found - isn't rolex logo on clasp and sticker a little bit... off? Overall it's nice for a 62 dollar watch.
  4. Thank you for advice. Of course, from many points of view stainless steel (or polished stainless steel imitating platinum or white gold) without gold plating is better choice because of lower percentage of possible failure during replicating the watch. Gold plated models without giveaways are always rare, but, i have stainless steel rolex already, and now i'd like to check whether gold watches would look nice on me. By the way, which one would you suggest? The one from WatchEden, or the one from Silix?
  5. So you say in price range of 70-200 dollars there is little difference? So, the watch for 90 dollars will be the same quality as this for 160 dollars, correct? And now i'd like to note that i'm quite aware of this that the watch will not be perfect, but, the entire rep world is far from perfect, as far as i've been able to research. So, the quality can vary, gold plating methods can vary, etc. The movement can be weak and fail soon, or it can work for years. When i want perfect (or should i say closer to the real thing) replica i should pay 200-400 dollars, i know that, but from the other side, for 400 bucks i could buy, for example, a real diamond dial (well, with aftermarket diamonds though, but dial would be still made by rolex) for my gen.
  6. First, thank you for quick reply. Yes, i know that 108 bucks will not buy mirror image of Day Date, so i'm willing to pay 40 bucks more, of course if that would change anything. In fact, i'd like to pay more like 150 dollars (not more though) and know that the watch looks just like the real thing. Could you suggest some better quality watch for around 150?
  7. Hello. I'm new on these forums so i would like to greet everybody and ask you to help me with purchase of Rolex yellow gold diamond dial replica. Unfortunatelly i've discovered your forum (and others, like RepGeek) relatively recently and i didn't manage to learn about the trusted sellers in replica world. The watch i'm looking for is a yellow gold (well, plated since solid gold ones would be 3500+) Rolex Day Date replica on presidential bracelet with champagne diamond dial. The watch itself should cost less than 140 dollars and be decent quality (well everybody searches for a high quality but inexpensive product). I know that 140 USD is not astonishing amount of money and the watch will have some flaws (like weight for example, since to have correct weight it should be made of tungsten which has exactly the same density as gold), but i believe it's possible to find a watch i will be satisfied with. Right now only one thing i've found is this: http://www.watcheden.net/rolex-day-date-automatic-full-gold-diamond-marking-with-golden-dial-i-15180-p-1.html Could you tell me whether this watch is a good replica or is it easily identified as fake not having to open it? I've heard various things about WatchEden, some opinions praise them, some describe their products as POS, so i don't really know what to think anymore. Thanks in advance
