  1. No, it should slide smoothly, yours is fine. The issue is with the slide rule not aligning with the markings on the dial. Difficult to explain but basically the two pieces with the line markers physically don't match up. This is used to do mathmatical calculations (for pilots originally). The equivalent of taking a calculator and rewiring the number 5 button to be a 3... all your sums would be wrong!
  2. Saw this in a junk shop cabinet. I'm assuming it is a cheap replica but I can't find any true Tudor that looks like this. Maybe a fantasy? Sorry for the poor photo, it was right at the back of the cabinet! Only other thing I can tell you is it had a quartz movement judging by the movement of the second hand.
  3. Just asked Andrew for an update... not quite ready but making progress. To most this will be no surprise and I guess this is a pointless post but I know a few people are excited so thought I'd share the fact that it is getting there!
  4. ...what new 28k Navi?! Can you send a link as the newest one available is (or perhaps was) a low-beat.
  5. Yep, I've done exactly the same!
  6. Man that would be awesome, I hope you're right Andrew! If I wasn't excited to begin with I certainly am now!!!
  7. ...I just answered my own question... The Serie Speciale... http://www.ttw888.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=16_143&products_id=286 What are the issues with this model to be reinventing it?
  8. I think you're right Andrew, all the bits are there and the most significant issues would be solved. Has the 6 9 12 layout (Old Navitimer) ever been rep'd? I don't remember seeing it. I certainly hope you're wrong regarding the timings though!!!
  9. There is a small update to this speculation here: http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/164998-new-navitimer-update/page-4#entry1314284
  10. So I was chatting to Andrew @TrustyTime regarding the most recent Navitimer 01. Obviously it is much improved but has a couple of big issues in the form of the low-beat movement and sunken date wheel. There has been speculation of a new version and the timings given have been reducing every time they've been mentioned. This has led me to think maybe we genuinely are about to receive the most awesome Navi ever! I thought I'd ask Andrew straight, here's the conversation, I'm sure he won't mind me sharing it. I should also mention that I was asking off the back of an order for the current Navi so it was definitely in his interests NOT to mention a new release and secure a sale of the current one which he has now lost (temporarily)... I assume this will be based on a 7753 movement. ------- On 23 Feb 2014, at 01:13 am, Trusty Time Admin <trustytime@gmail.com> wrote: No.. Thats not true because Asia 7753 cannot have the date change at the crown at all. Apparently someone heard it from you and Josh @Perfect Clones? Not having a quick date set would be fine for most people if they got a perfect Navi! Many thanks Andrew --- On Feb 23, 2014, at 16:40, Dommysam wrote: Thanks for confirming Andrew, I really appreciate you taking the time to explain! So, just to be sure, will this new version be a high beat? Which movement and will it use and will there be any improvement to the sunken date wheel? 11. Does anyone know if TrustyTime are stocking the same watch. I think it's this one but the dimensions are very slightly different to Puretime's. http://www.ttw888.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=11697
  12. You total [censored]! I said quite clearly I don't know about these watches and just wondered if they were actually genuine as what struck me was the lack of AR. If Rolex don't use AR then that explains it. What a completely over the top response from you. Christ, stick a tampon in.
  13. Just been reading a thread on another forum and this guy is showing off a huge collection of "genuine" watches. I'd be interested to know whether you guys can spot any reps. I don't know the watches well enough, the only thing I can say is the AR is appalling on most of them! http://forums.m3cutters.co.uk/showthread.php?t=92273&page=5
  14. Maybe an issue following the change of PSP a while back, seem to remember seeing a post about the loss of membership or something.
  15. I thought I had upgraded, I've sold a few watches on here?
  16. Thanks Richard, that makes sense. What doesn't make sense is that I did make the first post but there is no option to edit it. In face there is no option to edit any of my posts except for what appears to be a few hours after making one. My post from earlier today for example I no longer have an "Edit" button for!
  17. Still can't edit this bloody title... I don't see the options at all and it doesn't appear in "My Content" either. WTF?!
  18. If you will use it mainly for photo editing get a second hand MacBook Pro. You'll realise why 90%+ of the design world is on Mac!
  19. I know mate, I'm just being silly. Basically it doesn't matter what the forum advice or code of practice says all that matters is buyer/seller beware!
