  1. The limit for me is TT Rolex Sub around six grand I think. But it is my dress up watch. Everyday wear Black sub around 4K.
  2. Thanks for the update Andrew. I guess we should all just chill and wait. All will be well in the end.
  3. Hi Guys, I talked to him Monday. He is in fact sick again/still he is consulting with a couple of doctors and taking lots of test. So far they can't get a handle on whats wrong. He did say he was starting to feel a little better but gets tired easily and can't do much work right now. He thinks he will continue to improve but it's a slow process. He feel bad about leaving everyone hanging but asks for your patients.
  4. This looks close. King Watch Edit: One minute too late
  5. As they say to each his own. I love crono watches. I know it's not the popular sentiment but the quartz dosen't bother me. Even with all the flaws mentioned had I known this was in the pipeline I would have waited a couple of weeks and got this instead of the 4th gen pumpkin from Andrew. I may have to do a quick sale on it and get one of these to try.
  6. @cornerstone LMAO you really got me. As I scrolled down the page I was very intrested to see where the big piece of the pie went. And there it was Tanfoglio Thats funny.
  7. @Pugwash Very impresive. I don't understand a thing you are talking about(never used photoshop)but the finished product is outstanding.
  8. This should help. From By-Tor and he knows his stuff. Rolex GMT Master II replica (ETA 2836-2), Full review & how-to-use tutorial EDIT: I didn't pay attention to the fact that this was in "Photo Gallery"
  9. That is so funny and not funny at all. I am sure they "just wanted to help". I wish you the best on the clean up.
  10. I am so excited to see Dave is visiting the forum and posting his library of wonderful pictures and reviews. Dave was one of the most helpfull people I encountered when I first started hanging out on the watch forums over a year ago. I hope he will grace us with his presence soon and often. Hope to hear more from you soon Dave.
  11. Hey Joe, You know the reps aren't made for swimming don't you! LOL I guess you made yours waterproof. Ha Ha I hope you and your family have a good holiday. See you back on the board in a week or so.
  12. Just an after thought. Do you think the movement will be damaged if I let it run right Now? Thanks.
  13. Thanks for the support guys. RBJ Told me this should be an easy fix so I decided to have a look inside and the results were good. I was able to re-install the knocked off marker and set the gmt hand to follow 24 hour time. I still can't set the GMT hand independently, but I always used it like it's set now anyway. I'm going to watch it and see how it keeps time. And probably send it to Joe at a later date to check out the independent hand adjustment issue.
  14. Thanks TT, I was so upset I couldn't see straight. Ha Ha. I will send it to Joe and he will fix it up, I am sure @ehtolcad Thanks for the support. @rbj69 thanks bro
  15. I can't belive it. I dropped my GMT and it knocked the lume off the 10:00 marker. What's worse now I can't set the gmt hand. The watch still runs but the movement definently has some damage to it. Man this was a good watch all modded and relumed by RBJ. I am so bummed out. Thats the knocked off marker at about 9:00
