  1. It is my understanding you are looking for one with a Lemania 873 movement, perhaps even an 871 might work. Both are hand wind models.
  2. Yeah hopefully the Tissot movements price will get in the believable range. LOL
  3. Great looking watch indeed. I'm curious about what holds the sleeve in as well though. I got my franken PO Friday, Gotta post some photos of it, I think I want to sell it though so I can work on SMPs only. LOL
  4. Yeah those Tissot prices have gone through the roof. I watched one go for over 400 bucks, another for 350 and it was a broken watch.
  5. One can never have enough parts when learning to mod. LOL what you got? Of course I'm always looking for the perfect to near perfect case.
  6. Kevin you've been lucky with finding the right cases. That makes a big difference. great looking watches. Here's my 2824 ETA with gen insert and a SMP GMT ETA with gen insert. I've since chaned the GMT to a blue gen insert, Lume is needed on both watches though, but since I sleep at night it isn't that big of a deal to me. Thanks to Kevin I have more projects to do, just waiting for a rainy day, Sunny days us farmers have to be outside.
  7. The SMP is mu favorite Omega, very underrated.
  8. I have a gen dial and hands now to source the rest. LOL Beautiful work BTW.I imagine getting the right case is key to the dial fitting. Then the movement.
  9. Could you junk everything in the case and start over with a different movement in the watch? Well if the dial was good keep it.
  10. I have all the parts to make a franken of this one this one. It's a daunting task as a first full on modd/franken. Perhaps I'll let someone lse assemble it for me. LOL Nice watch indeed.
  11. The PO is well known for the tube stripping, which is why so many have frankened them with a gen tube and crown. including me.
  12. OK I have those three parts, is that all there are? I thought there was a wire that attached to a hole in the case that held the bezel on.
  13. So you think I'm missing the wire? The retaining ring has 3 tabs on one side and one on the other. It's the Gen Bezel, but I have yet to pop off my bezel on my SMP for fear of it all going wrong. Guess I'm just gonna have to bite the bullet and try and get the Rep Bezel off. Maybe I should try getting the insert off first and try just replacing that instead.
  14. I have a Gen SMP Bezel that I want to put on my rep SMP and it's not like what I see as far as other bezels especially like the one on the Bezel for the PO. there is a retaining ring that is separate from the Bezel and a spring that is tucked away in the Bezel itself. I'm having a hard time trying to figure out how this works. I hate to take the one off the one I wear to find out, anyone have some words of information for me on this subject, perhaps a diagram? LOL The retaining ring has some raised points on one side and one raised point on the other side. I'm guessing that point is the one that fits in the hole? Then does the Bezel just click into place over the ring? I'm having a hard time figuring this one out. I've looked at some old threads and pictures but none show it being changed. One on You tube is just crazy, the guy takes it off and snaps it back on. Truly confused.
