i was in a market 3 weeks back for yes another gen and this was one i went to check among the others... all i can say its marvelous retail was 9.6k euro on steel bracelet. But as times are tough the dealer knocked down 2k on this so 7.6k for new one...

I was considering course a second hand mint one that went for 4.5 cca on ure usual gen fs sites but was a bit late on the triger since i needed to gather funds for this adventure... then in the end got something else that i also got my eye on for 6 months now...

That said the palladium big date complication on the Sport Evo is TO DIE FOR and no im not overacting... the quick change is smooth it centers 100% at least the one i played with did... bracelet is a work of art with pus to release button for micro adjustments... 2 things were not that super for me ... turning the bezel felt cheap and bezel had some play! on a new one (same thing on Blancpain 50 phatoms i played with in Vienna 5 months back). And second one a matter of taste the watch on bracelet is super heavy and its not the watch head, they had one there also on kevlar, but its the steel bracelet ...

Due to the date complication i really don't see our Chinese friends making a decent rep of this one, don't wanna burst anyone's bubble but IMHO not gonna happen...

That aside phenomenal watch.

i have got this piece in a trade with Dani (thx again bro) watch came with the Leelo DW installed and a Swiss 2893-2 Gmt workhorse under the hood... I was quite happy with it but knowing what can be done kept me one week before i started to molest The Zigmeister into taking it in... I had some parts that i wanted to install and the mandatory elusive lume job

Luck was on my side The Zigmeister responded quick and said he will find an opening to get the job done i packed the things up and sent it off...

In the meantime fishgoodep posted his 29 an outstanding example and all i had to do is wait

I have returned today from vacation and picked it up in office... ill let the pictures talk but u can bet im really happy with what i received

BIG Thx to The Zigmeister for the work done no doubt an artist in its own class how he re-lumes that dial by hand is beyond my understanding thx also to kruzer for the advices along the way and some tips and tricks that came in handy. Also thx deltahoe on a great deal on a Pam gen calf.

Im not the best guy to advise on a Breitling but i will say this, i saw FrxAndy s Blackbird on a GTG in Netherlands and found the stock AR on it really nice.

I also had a few watches with K.... AR and thea one is even stronger then stock minus the blue color still personally i think i would leave it as it is...
