  1. After a bit more kicking off, i've had this response from Andrew: "I checked with factory. Your watch is with the new colorless AR like those in the new version Panerais. It is definitely correct as there is ONLY 1 factory making this IWC BP Thanks"
  2. Dmb350 - thanks for your response. My gripe is that when I received the QC pictures I raised my concerns with Andrew about the AR (I couldn't tell with the lume) he assured me that it had the double lume. Even my emails since receiving the watch he said it 'definitely' had the double AR and superlume. I feel a bit conned right now, I've bought 4 reps all from Andrew and recommended him to friends. Needless to say I'm not impressed!
  3. Hi all, I have just received my 4th rep from Andrew an IWC Big Pilot. I must say it is a fantasic watch but I was a little underwhelmed with some of the features and just wanted your opinion. The watch I bought was: http://www.ttw168.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=30_238&products_id=9380 On the listing were some sample QC pictures and a video of the watch - looks fantastic - double AR, superlume dial etc exactly what I wanted! When I received my QC pictures from Andrew the watch didn't seem to have really blue haze that you get from double AR - so I pointed this out to Andrew to which he said it had. I thought it must have just been the lighting or something so gave him the benefit of the doubt. Now the watch has arrived, it really doesn't seem to have that lovely blue haze as can be seen in the sample video and the lume is pretty poor! I have emailed Andrew my concerns and he insists its the correct watch and it has the double AR and superlume. "Try to expose the IWC BP under strong light and check the lume. And AR will be best seen in under bright sunlight.. " I am just a little unsure...I feel like it could be an old version or something? I thought I'd ask you guys your opinion? Have I received the watch I paid for? Here are some side by side examples of the QC pictures on the website and my QC pictures: Website: My QC: Website: My QC: Any advice or insight would be much appreciated.
  4. I noticed this one on silix's site: Is this not the one you ordered?? Please let us know how you get on, i'm very interested in this watch.
  5. I have also been searching for this model, but from what I can gather they no longer make it. Not sure why, not sure if it was any good. But if you have any luck please let me know where you found it.
  6. The noticeable differences i find are that the 'ticking' is a lot louder. I can hear this watch in a quiet room whereas my geniune I struggle to hear it at all. The 'self winding' mechanism is also considerably louder and can be felt through the wrist whereas on my geniune I can't. The blue tinge on the glass is a lot less noticeable on the rep. But otherwise it is very good. I will upload some pics of them both!
  7. The strap is a rep, thank you for the kind comments
  8. I know what you mean the recessed date wheel is such a shame!
  9. Hi all, Just joined here, I have owned a real Breitling Navitmer Heritage with black face for the last 6 years and loved every minute of it, however always wanted another Breitling as a kind of 'casual' wear watch. I saw the Navitimer World with tan strap on Trusty Time and decided to go with it. Received the watch yesterday and I am over the moon, here are some pics: (Sorry about the little strand hanging around the top pin i've removed it now!) I was a little unsure of the 46mm face as my Heritage is 42mm (I think?) and whilst I am getting used to it i'm already thinking of chopping it in for a Montbrilliant Datora - does anyone have one of these? What are your opinions?
