Thanks quetip. Is there any decent wrapped bracelets out there in the world? My gen bracelet is going away to the stretched bracelet spa which could take some time.

Hey guys, just a quick question on the wso two-tone oyster bracelet in the link, as wso hasnt answered any emails. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/311367544163?euid=2fad5ed042964111a286c04c11748843&bu=43763199772&cp=1&sojTags=bu=bu It is the wrapped gold version, but can anybody shed any light on the mid links? Are the sides wrapped? Can i put my original end links on the bracelet without issue? Thanks guys

Not sure about the parts, but if you look hard enough with enough £, it's always possible. About assembling, I'm sure mickey (STEEL) would handle it, he's based in Finland and always does great work.

Gen watch prices across the world, where would you buy?
lukenorris2011 replied to bjarneb's topic in General Discussion
I can only say that Thailand is no good, I flew back to London from Bangkok 2 days ago, and the Prices in the RolexAD there were on par with the UK. -

dont you hate the watch snobs on the gen forums?
lukenorris2011 replied to tyrantblade's topic in General Discussion
Couldn't have put it better myself. It's pity rather then hate. And your 100%, I have seen members here really correct some snobs over there. A big percentage on the gen forums just spend big and give it the biggen, Here we build watches, and love watches, the knowledge of certain members here is genuinely remarkable. [emoji3] -

Thanks, It's the second lot of QC pics I've rejected now. I've told them I'll wait patiently, not an issue, but I would like a v6s with a v6s bracelet. Let's see what they come back with. Until then.... ✌️ thanks guys. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hello guys, please help me out a little, I never have in all my years asked for help r.e Q.c pics, but this whole fiasco regarding the v6s being sent with v5 bracelets etc is mind numbing to me, and I cannot get my head round it. I already don't like the sel, but maybe I'm too fussy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Funny enough, I stumbled across a new high St Jewellers/watch repair shop in NW London. I went in, (watch nerd) and had an hours convo with the owner, he has extensive old equipment, and the modern stuff. He does on site repairs, waterproofing, servicing, everything. Even showed me a few re-dials he had made for a customer from his relative in India, pretty impressive. He was even aware of a7750's and the eta clones, is familiar with them, and happy to work on them. A pretty good find considering we have no real on board watch smith members here in London. This happened some time ago but i thought I would share it with you guys......... So.... Children? I'm to young for children.. However, My niece has always been fascinated with my watches for as long as I can remember... When she was learning to speak, along with the normal "mumma, dadda, I promise you she started to spill out "lex"... (Rolex.) Anyways the years have gone by, and it never changed, she was always the first to notice if I had a different watch on my wrist, and has always complimented them, asked me to take them off so she can see them. So... an opportunity arises where a ladies DJ comes up for a crazy cheap price.... I take it without thinking..... I won't comment on her age because some members will think I'm crazy, but believe me, she was the first out of all my nieces and nephews, and is extremely special to me for some personal reasons... Anyway.. Here she is... With her little gem... She will treasure it forever.. And even at her young age, it fills me with pleasure watching her understand the importance of a timepiece. In some years, if Rwg is still here, she will be a member ...... without a doubt! Thankyou guys Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Looks good, but I'll say rep just because what denimhead mentioned. Overall appearance, lines, bevels look way to "new." Sure one of the pros will come along and confirm for you! [emoji3] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
