  1. Nope.. Completely different.. I have tried finding a rep to no avail.. Might get lucky on the bay but it'll be pricy..
  2. 100 has a pretty good example of how such a project - with an ardoise dial and sapphire crystal caseback - turned out.. http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/135714-3714-82/ really pretty watch, although I'm not too convinced that that's the road I wanna take.. considering how many watches running on 7750 movements + with crystal casebacks that are already in my collection..
  3. Hi Guys, I was wondering if there would be any demand in getting a set of casebacks custom made for the 3714 portuguese chronograph model, and engrave them with individual serial numbers as what Jakob has done for Panerai models The 3714, I have noted, is immensely popular and is available as a pretty good rep, that is with most of its flaws fixed by getting genuine parts - such as the movement, dial & handset, crown, tachy bezel. While there are options to AR the crystal, and fix the caseback with a brushed look, there seems to be no method in sourcing genuine cases or casebacks (even through concepta or hacra). However, the case, I have noticed, is very accurate and only needs to be modded if transplanting a genuine movement. The caseback however, is quite a different story, and remains etched with the same dead giveaway serial number which is an IMMEDIATE tell. The best I can think of is to order a set of custom-made casebacks and get them engraved with individual serial numbers, and I am wondering what the demand will be like should I start with such a project. Any thoughts? Cheers!
  4. the short answer is to get a sharp knife, cover up the case & lugs with tape, and then slowly pry the rotating bezel off. the bezel is just a piece of hollow metal.. beneath, you'll find a rotating mechanism.. but 120 clicks is off.. the gen is 60 clicks.
  5. looks like a v2 to me. the serial number isn't as deeply engraved as the v3. also, you might want to get pictures of the crystal at other angles as this one looks that its sitting too high on the bezel. cheers..
  6. I have the model you described which I got off angus at puretime, but have never worn it because its not quite me.. comes with box, stainless steel bracelet and leather strap.. willing to deal fairly.. pm me if you're keen.. cheers..
  7. hi guys, I'v been searching all over but can't seem to be able to find a replacement crown for my bell and ross 01-92 from angus. I went for a movement swap to an eta 2892-2 but mucked up the stem which killed the crown and its inner spring - which can no longer be screwed in to be locked. would have been an easy fix but angus doesn't sell parts.. please refer me to any dealer who might have parts, or if you have a spare, please let let me know. willing to pay. thanks!
  8. I have a pam 243M from noob which stopped running.. Let me know if you're interested and we might be able to deal for a fair price. cheers!
  9. Angus is offering this mod (which applies to all other 6947 clones) but at a fee of $98. which of the dealers are offering the 127 with the Y shaped incabloc as a standard feature, ie, no change in price? thanks..
  10. hey buddy, I encountered this.. it can't be unwound obviously but here's what I did to get the balance wheel and hair spring to start moving.. 1) place the watch down with the crystal on a flat surface 2) shake the strap in a clockwise/anti-clockwise motion to move the case a few shakes and the balane wheel will start moving.. works every time.. but it won't be the first time it stops.. happens every two months or so.. cheers!
