I have something called Agenda : when I book a date on it, I won't plan anything else then. Makes sense. Hotels rooms can be cancelled... except when you book the uncancellable one 'cause it's cheaper.... Anyway, everyone has good reasons to come or not. No bad feelings with that. But please, don't ask a cancellation or postponement because you can't join. Think to those who would like to meet. There are possibilities for other GTG anytime. But cancelling 2 weeks before is not something I would welcome... at all.

Today I have made an other major step in my project HBB by changing the rotor. 2 pics of one of my longest projects : - thick AR'ed crystal by FineDD. Already had a K2222 AR (this was a light version originally), but it was too bluesih IMO - correct brushed bezel - real CF dial - thick datefont - smooth strap (just for a different look) - best looking movement : all silver, low beat movement to have a (dummy) regulator - gen looking rotor : thin engraving, flat gen like bearring To do : - stick a correct H on the movement bridge - find a black datewheel, if any is available with a thick white font. Both exist on the gen, but I prefer the black visually - caseback crystal AR coating, just for a better look - find a ceramic bracelet (I have the "plastic" one that comes on V2 reps) - movement servicing, although not necessary yet - relume ? The rep one is good on the hands.

Something different The Portuguese is the nicest Panda I've ever seen, but I would not recommend it for the movement issues we all know.

Not sure, but I've been told a gen has been dissected to replicate it, and that it's most probably the best replication of the year... Oh, and I forgot, it's almost 1:1, as you can mount a gen bracelet on it.

I don't know the details and don't want to... But my feeling is that this would be impossible if "transactions" over a certain amount were simply forbidden. We talk about reps, this is our hobby. 1000 dollars is a lot of money. So 6000, go, figure ! I have and will never support this kind of auction, whereever it is, as noone can really control what happens with these dollars. I'd be glad to win a 500 bucks rep after I got a 10 dollars ticket... But a 4K one and 60-80 dollars tickets ? Is that reasonable ?? BTW Lani, still waiting some news about my prize... Should it be an award...

Do not be afraid about the fact you're dealing with reps : officially you asked for a modification of your watch or even sent a crystal or more. Nothing can't be undertaken against you. Any member registered on TZ-UK is welcome to make himself known : there we will be able to post about his croocked behaviour with watch owners. It seems we can't register there anymore (for some reason), so those who have a foot in the place, let us know please. I unfortunately know very few members that were happy with his "services" The good thing is that watches & crystals have come back. The bad thing is that we can start the story again if we want a Chief AR coating, not mentionning things that need to be fixed. Not only was Mr Geoff Dedman a liar, but he's a shame to the watchsmithes corporation. And a shame for himself : he thought he had skills, all he had was a retarded way of thinking he could even open a watch. He screws whatever he touches : I'd be happy to know when there's no more single victim waiting, as this guy must be banned for the next 12 generations from any forum related to reps : I'm just surpised he still can have activities on Timezone. I wish him all the worse...

Actually a very good replication of the gen Portofino chrono. When I reviewed it, the only disturbance for me was the blue factory AR...
