  1. I buy the whole Schuren watch with 2 spare dials for a very good price. After, i mod the watch, change parts, and now only dial and movement are from the original one. I now sterilize the other dial by sanding print, now just need a small coat of varnish with airbrush. Problem is that i cannot find steel bezel and the correct hand to use a swiss 7753
  2. Mine look like this today, only dial and mvmt come from Schuren, others parts not:
  3. Yes, same hands! But need it for 7750(3) swiss or asia. If you have idea
  4. Sorry, mystake, i wanted to say "the", not "this" Same that this one http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/141289-guide-using-the-easy-link-extension/?fromsearch=1
  5. Lucky? Since i search this subdials hands for a year, i doubt Have you an idea?
  6. Hello, I would like to know if this easylink can be found somewhere and if it can fit gen old strap like on a 14060, even with some mod? Thanks for your help
  7. Hello all, For a project i have start a year back i search parts i cannot find and need your help . I start to make a Paul Newman style Daytona, non branded but with my own logo and name on it, with 7750. I yet have a case with asymetrical pushers and i put a gen crown and tube on it, gen Clark plexi after resizing the inner bezel ring on case, and plane to put a swiss 7753 on it. Parts i need are sterile dial (any type) and hands ( for asia and for swiss); hands i cannot find what i want is for subdial as i want the one who are wide, more wide than on most rep, more like gen ones; also search a silver bezel ( think my case are a DW one) . If you know where i can find it let me know, i hope to can finish it soon All the best!!!!
  8. This case is not a dsn, i am 100% sure. dsn case have different side and more thin lugs. this case look like a getat or jacksontse. for me, the bestestcase to mod to a nice 6152/1
  9. Hello dear members, i am proud to show you my last achieved vintage . I have yet post this thread on others forum but as i know some of you don't see it, here it is. i have work on this one for the past 10 months, starting last august. But before explanation, i first want to thanks some members who made it possible; Ross, Gordon, Pablo, thanks a lot; the parts you made are wonderfull. Now the watch : i decide i want it as 1:1 as possible, so decide to work on it the time needed to achieve. Except movement, i want to make it 1:1 outside, but ALSO inside; lot of work are planed. I also planed it to be 200m waterproof, so gen like construction is the way to follow. It started as a jackson case : - i remove caseback, bezel, CG and tube, just use the case. - case was reshaped on top, size, back, side of case next to CG will be better with more steel but, i do with what i have, maybe next time i will try to weld more steel here before reshape it. - after polished, and aged, but not abuse. - lugs are heavily reshaped, i gen size, more curved, and same diameter holes for bars at left and right. - 1:1 gen bars systems are made, using stainless steel only; it consist of a bars of steel, slightly domed, in a ssteeltube. The bezel : it is not like the standart bezel on rep or actual gen fiddy; vintage have an inside bezel who accept plexi, and an outer bezel who strongly secure the plexi "in sandwich" and make it waterproof without any gasket. - my bezel was custom made using the drawing i do and sent to the "lathe man" , and made like gen to accept the gen tropic 25 . - it needed to accept a 1.8mm thick dial too. - outer bezel is of gen diameter of 45.8mm, and the inside is more big as standart rep as 40mm, this one is 40.8mm to accept T25. When mounted on watch it is super hard feeling, very hard to put in place or remove even with tools -look the ring inside the dial pics. Dial : Only the best, Ross dial - i painted it in a little(hard to see) brown affect as fadded black after 60 years. - paint as thin looking as steel black oxyd treatment. - Marina militare filled with white paint - resin filled indice an numeral - lume is luminova with correct color not to yellow, more a creamy white( luminor is not radiomir) -custom back plate and plexi insert spacer was made as the dial need to be 1.8mm thick, compare to standart rep dial of only 0.6mm. So my dial is 1,3mm more up on case, and trust me, it do all the difference with standart rep:D (Bad point, now all my other babes look something wrong:undecided: ) -hole for hands are more big like on gen dial. - i choose the big MM wording instead of the small as a personnal choice, i have the two types of dials, just prefer the big one, more close to the size of Luminor Mrina wording. Hands: -little reshape and aged oxydized - lume is gen vintage lume with foam felling, and who glow more strongly than dial, but less long in time, as gen who only use luminor on dial, not on hands who use standart lume. Movement is a standart unitas as i want is strong and reliable as possible, but i was obliged to custom made new hour and minute wheel, more high of 2-3mm to adapt with thick dial and look stand up on dial as gen. Using and angelus will be more easy(ahnds pin are always more high) but unitas will be the better choice for a watch i will never be "afraid" to wear in all activities. Crown and tube : it was the more hard work on watch. Gen have bronze ( yes bronze, not stainless steel ) tube of 6 mm who go "in" the crown. so i custom made one and make it oxydized in green like you see on some gen after years on salt water. the crown was heavily moded to, by removing the leep, removing stem screw tube, making inside 6.2mm hole of 2mm deep inside , after soldered again a custom spring loaded tube for movement stem. all this work take me 2 full day of traying and traying again, very very hard, but now perfect looking. Caseback is a NW one, i fist reshaped it to have sharp angles between 12 sides, and more chamfered the beveled edge(hard for me to explain in english), after polished and aged. CG was a wonderfull okabum one, i finished it in brushed with polished edges, adjust lever to be strongly secured when closed, short a little lever end, make an axe pin, and finished some edges with a files like gen; fornt and back side are not the same, front are more "filed" like gen to accept holes in case. Strap : Full made by me, hard and long to do -starting by dying the leather in the perfect color. -make it in the gen 3 folded leathers at buckle side. -dyed linen thread in same color -gen lenght of 100/160 -gpf buckle that i have finished and aged. -aged balck side as the last strap who has a water proof treatment on side in black color. Now the pics, let me know yours comments. Sorry if i am a little bit boaster with this one, but i is the biggest work i have do, relay more hard than the previous angelus i made, and i am very very proud of what i have do, only by hands and with the Dremel. Now i need an other project, but honestly at this time i have not choose; maybe a 3646 as i see some case who look more tha interesting... Hope you like it
  10. Hello all, Here my new finished vintage pam : the big egi. When the cartel one was realised last year i was very happy and order one fast, but when watch arrive i realise than first it is too big to be wear, and second it was very cheap with an easily loosed bezel, but i like the look of it; so i decide to buy a "wearable" big egi, so i contact DSN. i buy the case set only as i planed to use it with unitas and with one of the wonderfull Ross dial i have ready for months. Watche arrive quickly and look nice but with a lots a flaws. But don't realy have time to work on it so do the mod some time during the past 6 months. First i need to reshaped the lugs, to be round by side, and make a thick 1.8mm thick screwed bars by left as gen. After i mod the CG area to deplace it 2mm at left near the bezel as it is too big first and look horrible, after i mof the internal tube to adapt unitas, and i mod a lot the CG to look close to gen. But the watch don't satisfied me, look too thick, so i decide to remove thickness of case be removing the gap on it who don't exist on gen. So i remove 2mm of steel beetween bezel and case, very hard and long job! i also make a new correct pearl. But to be use with the wonderfull Ross dial i need to mod the inner bezel who is too small , so inner bezel was make bigger of 2mm in diameter to adapat Ross dial. Dial are painted, resin filled , lumed . Hour and minute hand are mod to look like angelus and curved. Second hands is custom made to adapt small unitas subdial. Back are sterilised and with circular brushed. Case are vintagised and lightly polished and rust are adding all around each dots of bezel and elsewhere. Leather band use linnen thread. I also put wrist shot so you can see it is wearable. Let me know yours comments:D
  11. New pics added in natural sunlight: First the one who best show the color of the dial : Here the recessed in the case for crown guard: Side pics to show the two angles side: And other pics :
  12. Hello, Since past october i have a lot of projects in the way, but not big time to work on it. Here my last project acheive this weekend, after a long and hard work : it's a 6152 (not a 6152/1 without CG;) ) who means theire are the 2 angles sides case, little recessed for screw crown, different lugs who start more half the case. Case is fully modded and resized, plexi is a thick domed, dial is the best available, i choose a 4 liner with Gruppo gamma engraving as it is my cup of tea (thanks a lot for this Mister McSherry:D ) i paint it in a fadded ligh brown as early radiomir type, mine are more darker close to bezel and all around each number(hard to capture in pic, i will do better pic at natural light this evening); resin filled with cracks in darker color like some gen, modded crown, custom made gen bar system. Wil do more and better pics this evening : Let me know your comments
  13. This type exist in gen, late war kampfschwimmer type. But this one look fake for me, numbers don't look stamped like gen, too deep. Some members here have gens so they will be more helpfull that me.
  14. Dials are nice. Do you plane to do it with gen thickness ? It's what i will acheive next week (if all work as i plane as high unitas wheel i have made are yet not tested with rning movement). And put a resin or plexi insert ? I also work on plexi insert this time but hard to find correct thin piece.
