  1. so envious Mr.A

    200% agree!!!

This is very nice! Absolutely classic!! Congrats Al.

I have a franken coming in as well. It has the rep hands and I am getting the mikey hands. Interested in learning about the cyclop mod...

BTW, GTR is my dream car! But man at my age with kids in my family, I am driving an SUV...

At least you MUSTS get his modded hands mate. Pointless going franken without the gen or Mr.A modded hands.

  2. Like the terminator my brother of a different mother. I've very few watches now, though my spirit is stronger and my will to progress even stronger.

I guess that when I dispense advice to others now, pertaining to being strong, they would have no choice but to believe my sincerity big B. ;)

Your watches are Quality Mr. A.

    Great to see you back!

  3. Thought there is a v5 from noob?

    V4 is noob

    V5 is JF

The best version is from neither of this factories but the L fact located in Singapore. They released a v6 which is basically a V4 but fully modded and serviced with a lowbeat swiss movement. I heard that the mods also include sunken bezel screws, etc.

My recommendation is you should contact Legend for more info, esp if ur in the market for the diver. I've seen it first hand and its simply remarkable.

    Good luck

  4. I wish they would take the "Chess game" up to the next level and build a movement that is not only cosmetically similar from the rear, but a true clone of the ROO movement so that the dial/Date window /tachy are like the gen. with a slimmer case like the gen thrown in for good measure. Then you really got a winner!! :1a:

I dream of the same AP rep as u bro. The day an AP rep is as accurate as a PAM rep, id change my nick to AP153.

    Here's mine!

ETA low beat movement, waterproofed to 10 atm, serviced and regulated with 55hrs power reserve and keeps time to within 2 sec a day! A dream come true I would say

@folex are you seeing this yet? :D :D

    I see it everyday bro!!

Id have to say though, your ceramic is the best hands down. Low beat swiss movement but with a 3120 plate transplant, probably the only one on this forum. You gotta post the caseback for panerai153 to see mate. What a remarkable piece! Congratz!

  6. Better known as the ROO GP series, this range has amassed quite a good fan following.

I like the A3120 decorated movement, but the blue seems to be off. I will wait for the RG model to be released.

With only 75 genuine platinum model watches in circulation, each cost about $100-130k, it is going to very tough pulling this off.

    ;)

I know someone here that could pull this off easily. Don't try to be humble, we all know that your pockets is to the function of infinity ;D

  7. Ah yes, I knew you would turn up sooner or later master folex.

While you are here, why don't you give the real expert opinion on the needed mods? ;)

Help a friend and nice member out.

To be frank, im not sure what mod is needed. The true mod master is someone named mr. A on this forum, i heard he is LEGEND-ary. But i got a pict of a fren's diver if it helps for comparison sake ;)

  8. I would consider myself more a fan than an expert.

Speaking on the dial, I did notice a difference in the "shine and gloss" factor between the gen and the rep. The gen is simply more glossy in finish.

I have not done the mod myself, nor have I come across someone who has done it to be honest. But straight off my head, I was wondering if a layer of lacquer would work? I considered wax of course, but given the exposure of the dial to sunlight, it might cause the wax to melt and flake off eventually, doing more harm than good.

So yes, if it was my own diver, I would lacquer the dial!

More like a Fan AND an expert :D
