  1. Hi I have na original Lello DW Here is an hi res scan
  2. I'm trying to schedule a service with The Zigmeister. I'm in for 1 if I can schedule with him.
  3. Hi corgi! Do not go to the rear on this. It is attached with screws. This was one of my first fears when opening the watch. I'm not a native english speaker and this watch lingo is still not in me. The top part is not named "crown", that was my mistake. I think the word is bezel. Nevertheless it IS the top part which comes off applying pressure. Sorry about that!
  4. Hi Corgi! The Sky moon has three parts. The top part (crown) which is put in place using pressure and can be removed with a knife envolved in a soft cloth. After the crown with its O ring are removed, you an see the dial of the sky part. On the outside there are four screw holes. In my case there were only two screws (talk about saving in material If you unscrew these, the middle and bottom parts separate, showing the quartz on the bottom part. Then you can replace the battery. I don't know the battery ID since I just ask my dealer for "one just like this one". Hope this helps!
  5. Hi! I want to fully mod an Ingenieur. One of the things it needs is relume. Or a gen dial. I`m thinking about this possibility but could not come up with a site that carries these. I found plenty of gen dial of other brands but not IWC nor Ingenieur. Does anyone know how to get one or even how much would it cost? Thanks!
  6. Hi! Congrats on a great watch. My incoming Ingy will also visit Mr. The Zigmeister for a lume, AR and datewheel job. The datewheel is the only thing missing link between your watch and the gen ingenieur. Well, that is if you disregard the IWC movement. But the ETA that comes in this one is also sweet! If you want a datewheel, I think lello is printing some more. Love your Ingy! Hope mine looks as good.
  7. I also need one! Please check PM lello! Does anyone have a mail from him to which I could contact him? Please PM me!
  8. Hi! This is a question for the people who do AR coating. Is the coating the same on sapphire and mineral glass? what are the differences? does any one have photos? I have a Raymond Weil which design I love and the original has AR. This came with mineral glass and the shape and curvature make it difficult to find a replacement sapphire. PS: I have in Ingy coming my way which is sapphire and "needs" AR. When can we sign up?
  9. HA HA HA! There is a VERY BLACK humour about this... The admins cought me good. As soon as I saw it I thought: F&c$ "they" finally got the site closed! I knew it! Why now?! why us?! I'm just so glad it's only April's fool! Cheers
  10. Hi! I have a rep sky moon turbilion. It is a nice watch but the moon face has stopped. I've been reading the foruns and I could pop the top where the asian movmt is but I cannot release the "thingy which sets the time". On the other hand I don't know if I'm supposed to start on the to but I can't seem to get the botton to open. Since it has a gold coating I ended up with a scratch from my noobness. Pelase help me so that I don't have to go to a watchsmith and say "could you please replace the battery on my patek philipe" because I don't know if someone will throw something at me. Thanks!!
  11. I'm interested in a PO. Since my wrist is (I think) small for the 45 PO, the 42 seems the best choice. But as all the topics agree the "ultimate" PO is the best, the 42 PO as different versions with different prices (and quality?). I'm going crazy since I can't find the gen's specifications and do not know the different movements. On one hand we have this one: http://watchwindersworld.com/omse10010-sea...242-p-1432.html And it fits a 2824 ETA, which makes it 12 mm thick. this will set me back $228 On the other hand, we have this one: http://www.silix-prime.com/product.asp?id=1318 Which runs on a 2836 ETA and makes it 10mm thick. This costs only $150 Visually I cannot spot any difference beside the case back. Both claim saphire with AR. Please help me to choose one, the other or wait for the "ultimate" 42. Which movement is better? which thickness is closer to gen? If any of you has access to both could you make a comparison? Thanks!! PS: I thought I showed some homework before someone sent me to the search button
  12. Hi!! I just got a rep of Patek Philippe Sky Moon Turbillion. PP Sky Moon My reasons were: 1) I love the watch. The details are fantastic even though not "perfect" replication. 2) I acknowledge the art in PP's masterpieces 3) I could never afford an original 4) Even a gen holder would wear a replica on the street (many holders of grand jewels have perfect replicas for display) If I'm asked by someone , I will chat about it and show these reasons. Wouldn't it be even worse if you presented yourself as a real rolley owner only to find out that the other person was staring at the replica's faults? (they all have them, you know?) If I see a rep on someone I will ask about the watch saying something like: "Nice watch...". I would be very disapointed at someone who would try to trick me into thinking that a rep was really a gen. But as some comments made me to believe that some people in the forum were/are (I think) trying to create a lowcost personna, I would like to question the other members: Why do you have reps and why do you wear them? Are you in fear of being pointed out in a serious situation? Do you trick yourself into thinking that no one will see the diference? (being just 99.99% right) Comments are welcome fellow watch lovers!
  13. Hi! Thanks for the welcome and info! There is much information around and I am just grasping the surface... phoband: Portugal is a nice little place. Make sure you come back. back to reading, then... bye
