The gen crystal and dial has some variations too so the distortion is not really a tell. The incabloc mod on the movement is a must as all Panerai 127 movements are uniform with that kind of incabloc. -
and... I just saw it got sold! How hard to source or have this built? The thread is 2yrs old, times have changed?

This could be the titanium Pam I am looking for and as its closed back then the looks of the movement won't matter for me. The dial should be very good thou before I buy it. -
Maybe you can call the postal office and find out what happened. They should have a record.
