Calibre 5 is 2824 based indeed But if you asking about the Gen movement .... You should call it the Gen name ... I guess!!!

Calibre 5 Pure Time ??

My Opinion ..... For what it's worth 1. Carrera Calibre 16 Day Date .... Many say these are Super Reps 2. Aquaracer Day Date 3. Aquarecer 500m chrono and non chrono. I have the Gen and Rep Chrono and the Rep is awesome. It's really close to the Gen. This would be my pick !

IMHO.... Stay away from the leather on Rep watches... The quality is really crappy .... Or get a stap maker to do a proper gator strap for you.. C

Quick question about this watch ... Does the logo on the face of the watch have the little arrow head at the end of the "G" ? if so ..... what dealer did you get that one from ? Thanx C

Dont do it bud !!!!! I tried it ... Gave her the Rep.... She was extatic about it ...and I felt like an IDIOT ... total IDIOT...... Went to the AD the next day and got her the real thing! I could not imagine the disapointment if she ever had to find out I gave her a Rep. I am glad I did ..... Lucky for me she feels sorry for wearing the Gen ...so I told her I would look for a Rep that she can wear every day ... problem solved !!! Everyone is happy ! Not to mention Mister Happy ! C
