  1. Thank you so much for your reply! A nice grim reaper you are. i find the movement jargon quite confronting and confusing.. but as i read more i guess i learn it. Super pumped to have the tears of joy when i receive my first purchase. done some research on the movements.. now to find the right watch.. thanks again for your help
  2. After posting in the Breitling area and not getting any love, i thought i tried the general discussion folk out for a try. I am a newbie.. bash me as much as you want . Done some research over the last few weeks or so, and am wanting to buy my first (proper) rep watch. My bali beach watch doesnt cut it.. haha. Looking at the Breitling Navitimer, Breitling Superocean and the Omega Seamaster. Obviously would love all of them, but going to take my new found watch collecting obsession slowly, and dont want to get caught out being a newcomer. First of all. Where can i learn about the movements, from reading some posts the A7750 is one of the best? No idea why this is the case, can anyone shed some light on it or lead me in the direction of where to read up on these. Also i have read something about swiss being the best over asian movements? but most of the reps are asian I have seen. Lastly when you get sent your QC pics what are the main things you look for? Comparability to the gen and alignment of everything? Any tips or pointers from all you experienced collecters would be greatly appreciated. PS. i did a search on the forum to try and find this info but had no luck.
  3. Ok after some more research and no replies I have decided to go with the navitimer. I have seen some people have had some problems with the rep, in regards to the date code falling and ensuring the right movements. I was told by Andrew at trusty times "Those with Asia 7750 movement are the better high end replicas" Is this what i should be searching for as the right movement for this watch.. Any guidance with choosing the right navitimer would be really appreciated as i am not a watch maker, i wont be able to repair it myself, eventhough i do find it interesting and wouldnt mind teaching myself about it. is there a guide for learning about the movements, and why certain ones are more reliable than others and more expensive. i couldnt find anything through search. I havent found any navitimers with the swiss movements (which from researching on here) seems to be the best movement around. Sorry for so many questions.. new to this hobby... but do LOVE it and excited to get into it abit more
  4. great review.. opens up your eyes a little bit
  5. Hi all, Done some looking into getting my first Brietling, never bought a clone watch online and not really up with the lingo of the workings of a watch. The ones i have selected i like the most are the following, what would you guys recommend? you will notice the style of watch I am liking as they are all quite similar. Transocean - BLT10002S Transocean chrono SS/SS Black Jap 0S20 Chronomatic - BL10068 Vintage Chrono-matic SS black manual Chronos Montbrilliant - BLMB01002 Montbirlliant SS/SS Black A-7750 28800bph Navitimer - BL10009 Navitimer Black Dial Numeral markers Working Chronograph Main question is what is the main difference on the insides of the watch that makes the price point jump up? Any help would be much appreciated.. also was thinking of giving josh from perfect clones a go for my first, anyone recommend anyone different or is this is a worthy choice? no bashing the newbie... cheers
