  1. Over 5 month till this thread has been started, and still no Hublot forum yet?! Come on guys...
  2. Right, the first post always should be "who has the best Sub???" ;) Sorry, couldn't resist...
  3. Aren't you afraid of the sec@6 problem? I really like the look of the beautiful Daytonas but I'm lack of courage due to the movement problems... As far as I know there is no reliable fix for that (except from domi which is rather expensive...)
  4. Hi Martijn, cool, you're looking for a Black Magic! Good choice...! I'm not 100% sure, but I think Josh has a V6 (which should be the most accurate version) and Toro's watch is an earlier V1 / V1.5. And hell yes, why there isn't a Hublot subforum???
  5. Navitimer don't have a screw-in-crown, so just to pull out & push back! Congrats to your new watch, she's looking awesome!
  6. Thanks mate! On Trustys page you have to click on a watch to see the details (description, more pics etc.) and below the pics there is the date like "This product was added to our catalog on xx.xx.xxxx". From there you can see if this is a recent or an old model. Here´s a screenshot of Andrews site, check the entry below the small images of the watch, below the yellow "write a rieview":
  7. Here you can find some pics of my Chronomat B01: http://www.rwgforum.net/index.php?/topic/158196-Bling,-Bling...-Chronomat-B01 This is my Skyland: Both are from Andrew / Trustytime.
  8. If you want a Breitling which is close to the gen I suggest look for the 2012/2013 models from the TDs: Superocean, Skyland Avenger, Super Avenger, Chronomat B01, Chronomat Evolution etc. These a really VERY good reps with a decent build quality. Even the SS bracelets from these a very good - I have Skyland Avenger and Chronomat B01 on bracelet and was surprised by the good quality (compared to the cheap Navitimer bracelet)!
  9. The jumping second (not smoothly sweeping) on the quartz version is a BIG tell that you wear a rep! Also the 3 subdials are too close together on the quartz. If you really like the Navitimer I would strongly recommend go for the A7750 automatic movement, for example from Trustytime or Puretime etc. On their websites you can find pics and maybe a video of the Navi "in action". But be aware that the Navitimer rep is not one of the best reps out there... Biggest flaws/tells are: - sunken datewheel - no double AR on the crystal - slide rule not perfectly aligned to dial numbers - weak lume - bracelet feels very cheap; better go for a leather strap version!
  10. Good news that you got your QC pics! Now the waiting for the delivery begins... Tracking is not always very reliable; it SHOULD work after a few days, but it also happens that tracking don't show up any info... Rule of thumb: give it about one week before getting nervous...
  11. Also disagree. Communication with Andrew is always lightning fast, no matter what time or weekday it is. Often you'll get an answer within minutes! Period from payment to QC pics may vary between 2 and 14 days, depending on stocks of the watch, backlog etc.
  12. You really should get your watches waterproofed - so that no alcohol can get INSIDE the watches! (What a waste of alcohol, btw...)
  13. I suggest go for a gen strap, it's much smoother than the rep and so a lot more comfortable to wear the watch. I bought a used gen strap for about €100 in the german forum, and can only recommend go for a gen!
  14. I'm amazed by the lot of creative ideas here - let's continue with further ground breaking, innovative and very effective methods for cleaning a drunken watch! :D
  15. I don't think this is the right forum for your question...
  16. Andrew changed to a new domain: just replace 168 (from his old address) to 888...
  17. Good taste laurent, nice pieces you ordered! Wear them in good health mate!
  18. It's sticky now, but for all Tapatalk users reading the latest contents a bump is needed for pushing to top of the new topics... So buuuummmppp! Up!
  19. Congrats to your first rep purchase! Really a nice one! Great entry into reps! In the rep world there are often/always some little or bigger annoyances, minor or bigger things you want have to be fixed. An experienced rep-friendly watchsmith (preferable in your near) is a must have in this game - maybe you will find him in an old fashioned small store locally (not an AD of course!), and if not just get in contact to one of the modders here. Even your annoyances are at the moment "only" small visible flaws, soon or later you will need a watchsmith because of movement problems or servicing the movement to avoid problems...
  20. You're welcome buddy! Looking forward to see pics of your AP soon...
  21. Stop posting pics please!!!!! You make me to want one, immediately want one!!! Enjoy your special Navis, wear them well!
  22. Some quick pics for comparing rep vs. (used) gen strap - the rep strap is installed on the watch: The squares on the gen strap are a littler higher, and have more "rounded" edges, the rep looks a littler flatter. But the visual differences are nearly not noticeable, only when looking veeeery close to both straps. But the feeling makes the difference...
