Nice, also ordered a 6x, waiting on mine. Just bought the rubber version as I can't justify the higher price for the other versions. Also think the rubber sits the best in your hand.

Well they actually don't get it right,.. than also depending on the model as the latest model are a little more grey than blue.

Rolex Deepsea Black/Blue ( James Cameron )
Bidle replied to Fozziebear's topic in General Discussion
The real thing is ugly,... The normal one is also not selling as they wanted and probably that's why they came up with this one. I had the Deep Sea just when it came out and returned it after ~3 weeks. The bracelet is a joke. Looks like somehow they completely forgot to alter it. In the first four links it is even narrower than a regular old sub. Not even to speak about the thickness of the strap. -
Another so called watch expert,.... pffff also a pretty old movie.
-
Well didn't wear it yet,... but have to say the finish is pretty nice! This is nr. 2. Only didn't like the original nato that came with it. But the other straps are fine. and,.. never went to the dark side. Only here to keep track of the dark side,... only gens in my collection.

Do like chrono's especially without a date.
-
Well,.. do like all kind of straps, but this one would be nicer on leather. Some vintage Pateks look great on braided nato straps. Also wear some watches on cheap straps like lately my JLC. JLC DSC 04 by Bidle, on Flickr

Like these but would prefer the original! Got close one time to buy one,.... grrrr.

I would never bring a watch to the AD,... only when it still has warranty or when I've a good relation. In some rare cases it is just nice to have the service papers from the manufacture, but only with special watches. In the Netherlands there are so manny great watchmakers who can do the job for a lot less, so,.....??? Ferrie Schweitzer W&V etc, etc.

I can't let go multiple watches, but probably a simple explorer II from 2003. As it is a old-skool and one of my most comfortable watches. For sure the most comfortable of all my Rolex's.

What Do You Say When People Quiz You?
Bidle replied to GetReplicaWatches's topic in General Discussion
Always a nice question. Sometimes with some watches I get the same question: Is it real? My response is always the same: Me: "No of-course not, it is fake. A real one can cost even a couple of hundred." Other: " A couple of hundred??? No even a couple of thousand?? Me: "Really,... that's just insane!!" -
Well I'm in 'real life'. And personally I dislike all forms of replica watches and never owned one and never will. Still I don't dislike their owners. Everybody is entitled to his own taste. As I'm a collector of 'original' watches and replica's are becoming harder to recognize I do follow this market. As there is a lot of useful information shared on fora like these. About this Fakebuster,..... well if he thinks it makes him feel better to belittle others. Let him. Personally I don't care if somebody tries to pull of a replica as a genuine piece. In the end they know it themselves.

Nautilus 5711 V3 Blue Dial, Asian ETA 2824 - Quick review and pictures
Bidle replied to lfovco's topic in Other Brands Area
The Nautilus is definitely one of my favorite watches. It's a very beautiful piece!! Looking quickly at your first photo it looks like the real deal,.... Only when you look at the 'lines' on the dial you know it is off. Or are there more differences?? -
Nice, Here is my Doxa 1200t and a lume:

Which watch are you wearing to end the year with?
Bidle replied to irolexu's topic in General Discussion
A bit late but this one and today a RG Omega from beginning of the 50's -
Thanks to everybody on this forum I learned a lot!! I wish you all a healthy 2014!
-
Thx. When I bought the watch I immediately ordered the brown strap. Its Trt (The real thing).
-
I don't even think it's a very big collection. If you spend some time in the High-end section on WUS,...... pffff. Then you will see/notice some impressive collections.

New model; brown strap! Only try. :-) Its Trt. I Simply love the brown strap:
