  1. Marvelous collection! Assembling them for photo shoots must be fun.
  2. What a complete and total [censored]. A grown man waxing large whilst publicly humiliate others. Can't go much lower than that. Anyway, you handled it well. This illustrates why I steer clear of pubs.
  3. not a recent purchase at all. She just silently graces my watchbox each day. Got it from paso way back when. Don't think he's around anymore
  4. I've always loved this watch, but it's been a tough one to photograph properly. Took a break from work, threw on the SB600 and took a few snaps with my D70. I felt they captured the essence of the Royal Oak better than other pics I've taken. It would look better in natural light, but it's evening. This particular model is the MBW/MBK Royal Oak Jumbo with Swiss 2836. I opted for the solid caseback which is inaccurate for the model. The reason for this is that the display caseback showing the movement is an immediate tell. Interesting features on this watch: 1) Genta design -- the bracelet glitters at different angles due to polished edges 2) The dial appears to be a waffle, but it actually has radiating concentric circles that catch light nicely 3) Very low profile -- feels like a very expensive watch. I'm guesstimating that she's about 39mm. Small for some, but it's a dress watch for me. I'm not put off by smaller watches. Standard rep lume. 4 second charge, handheld camera. Thanks for looking. Koll
  5. I would so love to own one or two or three of these :-)
  6. Things of great beauty. Love the pandas. Anyone know what the gen movements go for?
  7. Ingies are awesome, but the clasp is very poorly made. I've had two, and it's a [censored] to get it to close. Yes, I've tweaked the spring, cleaned the pusher and oiled it. Not happening. May have to get the kevlar strap. By the by, for whatever it's worth, I think there are two Ingy versions. One using a 2824 and the other (mine) using the 2836. Important to know if you're ever looking for a Lello datewheel. IMHO, the rep AR on the Ingy is atrocious. The blue tint is so strong on some angles that it's ridiculous. Here's an old pic I found of mine. The blue/purple is far more intense in real life. Must get it to Chief pronto. Still, a fantastic watch. Love the Ingy.
  8. Let's see some 288 pics. I also like that model...
  9. Only after the ejection crystal had been fired. Eject, eject, eject!
  10. I'll be up for a couple... or more. Spring loaded would be phenomenal. I'm still rocking my original Palp ti crown on my 177H.
  11. Thanks for the compliment. The dial really is a stunner.
  12. Projectologist, good seeing you. Here are a few more pics, albeit nowhere in the league of your own. The iPhone wars have begun... Nicest 3646 I've laid eyes on, and on my very own wrist, no less The always lovely Blacksteel... The Arktos on Yours Truly 199... Some mixed shots... Always wonderful seeing everyone. Cheers. Saving best for last...
  13. From my own personal watch cellar... Behold, the subdweller the gmt with secret gmt complication (well, to be fair, it technically does do a second time zone)
  14. Now that caught my attention. I've never seen this strap at any of the dealers'. If you get any leads please post 'em.
  15. Today it was this for day.... and this for the evening..
  16. most complicated I've seen is the Muller Casablanca with complications.
  17. I'm enamored of the 183s. hard to fathom how you sold this. i just wish the rads had a better strap changing system. i have "strip-anxiety" which kills the fun a bit.
  18. Wow... able to give up a 183? That takes character.
  19. I'm really digging it on the gator.
  20. I had great service from the fellow. Picked up a few custom jobbers.
