  1. Granted, I'm pretty sure there're quartz versions of this watch as well: http://www.ebay.ca/sch/sis.html?_nkw=CLASSIC+OMEGA+DEVILLE+QUICK+DATE+QUARTZ+ROLL+GOLD+WATCH+&_itemId=290381419738 EDIT: I compared the rep to a couple gens off of Google images. You seem to be right about the date misaligned. That's not a deal-breaker for me.
  2. Don't get me wrong, I'm not looking to buy cheap chinatown reps as you guys put it. Haha its just that I want something to wear that's more disposable than my Rolex. The Rolex rep I got the other day is top notch and IMO well worth the price. This one, however, is only $6, so I thought why the hell not. I'm not looking to get anymore genuine watches than I already have. I already own two ice watches and a gshock. But I wanted something classy to wear in case something ever happens to my rolie.
  3. Does that really matter? As in would you consider that to be a deal-breaker? Edit: It looks like the dial's obscuring the date window, but I'm pretty sure that's because of the angle that the photo was taken at.
  4. Bump. C'mon guys it's just a cheapie rep! Is it any good for <$30?
  5. Need some opinions before I jump the gun. I'm looking for a backup for my Rolex rep in case anything goes wrong. It's fairly cheap (<$100) and it's a part of my b-day gift along with the Rolex rep I recently got. Feel free to point out any inaccuracies with the watch. Don't worry about the band, since I'll probably be swapping that out for a metal one.
  6. Three of my friends came over today and funnily enough, none of them noticed the messed up bezel. They all thought it was a gen, ahaha. Anyway, I'll get some pics up soon with my 12mp camera. Unfortunately, my sister's using that at the moment so I guess I'll post the pics tomorrow. Thanks guys. I really appreciate the help!
  7. That sounds a bit risky. What if I end up making it worse than it already is?
  8. I can't for the life of me push it back down! Is there a workaround for this?
  9. See how it's slightly raised around the saphire (the top-ish)? Is there any way I can pop it back in?
  10. Also, of course the minute hand looks off; it was under the magnifying glass in both of the pics!
  11. I found a couple fake vs real comparison videos for the Rolex Submariner and noticed little to no difference between the real and fake ones. The differences are nearly impossible to find to the untrained eye.
  12. Lol it seems to me that you guys have been spoiled by fancy shmancy $300 reps. Take a step back and look at the bigger picture here .I got this watch for $37.50 taxes in and shipping included. Do those subtle details really matter? The second hand sweeps, the watch keeps great time, and the chronometer works like a charm. Not to mention there's a seal of authenticity on the back of the watch. Now I guess what Im trying to get to is do you guys think I'll get called out wearing this watch? I only plan on wearing this bad boy for a couple years. Will anybody under the age of twenty even bother calling me out on my watch?
  13. Lol screw that! This was my birthday gift for myself. I bought it with my own money so I'll be damned if a slightly offsetted dial will tarnish my money worth. Fyi I'm not a walking bank. I'm not getting another watch and IMO I doubt any of the 16 year olds at my high school can tell the difference. A nice watch is a nice watch god damn it!
  14. I doubt anybody will notice those subtle perks at a glance so all's well haha
