Will do Mike! I actually replaced the crystal, bezel and original bezel ring with parts from Dagaz Watch. I restored both of those 6309s. Dagaz is a pretty cool site if you like tinkering with and modifying old seiko divers.

I have a pair of old school Seiko divers from the 80's hiding in my watch box.

YES!! It's funny. In my world as a firefighter and a paramedic, I didn't think I would have to worry as long as I wasn't wearing a watch that said ROLEX. As far as I was concerned, it was just a goodlooking watch on my wrist. But then one night we had a get-together and I wore a Panerai. Another medic saw it and totally spazzed out. Turns out he's a watch geek and had been thinking about buying a luxury watch for the longest time. Since then he's been asking me a thousand questions about where to buy Panerais, Rolex watches, what I think about AP's Omegas etc. I have NEVER had to lie about my watches. However, I have not been asked the ultimate question either. I don't think the majority of people really care.

I still can't believe there is so little interest in this one.

I'm done with rep chronos. I had two A7750s with seconds at 9 and both broke on short order. One is unwearable. The other is MIA with MD2020. I might change my mind if I get good at overhauling my own watches or if I find a reliable watchsmith willing to work on them.
