  1. I had some minor issues with my last order as well. Never had such issues on the 3 prior purchases. I asked clarification on a QC pic and it took about a week to confirm if the picture had dust or it was in fact a scratch. In the end it was all good when the real Andrew returned. I think much patience is required and eventually it will get there.
  2. (Repost from RWI and the other RWG forum) Excuse the doubling up with posts on other forums but I thought this might benefit other members who do not forum trawl. I have wanted a good rep of this watch for some time now. I noticed that TrustyTime had a 1:1 replica of this watch for sale and the price was reasonable so I bit the bullet and went for it. I'm always skeptical of 1:1 claims so I purchased without too high an expectation. Payment was made, QC pics received within 24 hours and shipped after that. From time of payment to it being on my wrist, it took 6 days with EMS postage. Big thanks to Andrew and his high level of customer service. I normally wear Rolex and Pateks so I don't know what I'm looking for with this watch in terms of gen comparison. However, to me, it is beautiful. The leather is soft and has a pleasant aroma. The clasp is smooth and operates without a hitch. Chrono works perfectly, lume is super bright and caseback engraving look the goods. Enjoy the pics (but excuse the dust)...
  3. I bought a few from Andrew at Trusty Time... See my post below... http://www.rwg.bz/board/index.php?showtopic=52686
  4. Thanks for the responses. I actually thought it was more tan than orange when I bought it online (must be a little colour blind). So I had intended to go with a grey suit and tan belt (H belt) with tan shoes. I'm wearing it with blue shirt and dark blue jeans (with orangy stitching). It works.
  5. I recently bought 2 Hermes belts from KB, a dark brown/black combination and a black/orange combination both with brushed palladium finish. I've worn the brown/black combination with my work attire which consists of business shirt and suit. I match my belt with my shoes and sometimes my watch as well. My problem is how to pull off the orange belt? Already the "H" is quite blingy compared to my LV belts, the orange seems to me to draw even more attention. I could obviously reverse it and use the black side but it would be cool to be able to use the orange without looking trashy. Perhaps it's a casual wear only. Thoughts?
  6. Haha that's classic. I feel like that some days so I mix it up with some gens and it goes a little like this: BK sub, gen Prada loafers, gen Hugo Boss shirt, gen LV belt, rep Hermes cufflinks, rep Hermes briefcase, gen Bvlgari sunglasses while driving my Porsche (the last time I checked it's definitely a gen). How does one pull it off without anyone daring to ask if any item is fake? Buy the best quality reps from reputable dealers who strive to sell the best quality gear. And in the super rare event when someone asks if it's fake to which I never lie and I say yes, they still aren't quite sure. When I finally convince them it's a rep, they ask me where I got it as they want one too So back on topic... I've dealt with some other TDs for softgoods but found Ken's honesty, customer service and quality of products the best.
  7. I am sometimes picky about reps as well but I often have to remind myself to get over it and learn to accept the flaws. Even my BK TW Sub has some dust or marking on the rehaut where there shouldn't have been. But I'm the biggest critic because I know it's a rep and I sooo want it to be close to the gen. Reality sinks in after finding the flaws because I realize that no one but me will know and I only paid a fraction of the price. Heck even my Hermes briefcase which is an awesome rep has some flaws which to me are noticeable but not to the world from a distance. I only notice it because I'm looking for it intensely.
  8. Welcome to the forums t4orce :)
