Superb looking 5513, and great project. Its nice to have something like this ticking along and seeing how it turns out. Well done on the great achievement!

I put one of Michael Youngs T19 superdomes on my 5513, turned out quite nice.

Sweet piece...I just grabbed the silver dialed version from m2m....chucked a yuki bracelet on it, looking pretty sharp. I like your black dial though, very nice.

The SSD is a older Noob version of the 16600 which is now unavailable (unless you hit one up on a M2M somewhere), your best bet if you want a new one is go with the BPSD and get it modded, thats what most people seem do these days. You can get pretty damn close with the BPSD. Good Luck

Regarding the Plexi, do you think the MBW needs to be replaced? I have the stock MBW on my 5513 and am pretty happy with it to be fair. If I were to replace it though I would seriously consider the Michael Young T19 superdome? Does the hour hand differ that much, i've been trying to compare pictures but am confused as to what the change was, and when it affected the line. Am I right in saying the hands on an original 5513 shouldn't have the curved feature apparent in the TC hour hand? should there be a line down the middle of the minute hand? Please chime in about this as I've just bought some TC hands which I was going to get coloured (no lume) to match the markers on my spider dial.

Can anyone advise me the best bet for upgrading hands on a 5513. I currently have MBW hands fitted on the 2846-2 but they look a little flat, I was wondering what peoples opinions are on handsets to fit this model....Yuki / TC v2, ND?, And how about ageing them, what is best to colour the lume? the patina isn't very tainted only very slightly creamy.

Sweet 5513 dude. I've just had my spider dial 5513 land in my lap before xmas so I am feeling the vintage buzz too atm. can I ask how you sanded the 580 endlinks? I bought gen 580 endlinks for my 93150 and they just don't fit quite right in the MBW case, which ever way I try to move the springbars they don't expose both sides of the springbar nib to the edge of the lug if you understand my meaning. I was thinking of sanding the 580s on the curve to make them fit closer, 501bs make the sprinbars look fine but are the wrong size. Anyway congrats again, the rivet bracelet is awesome, would love one for mine as I love the clasp but its not period correct for the spider dial.
