  1. I have currently 44 reps. I also have a waterproof tester So far for the 39 rep diver watches I have, 37 were waterproof to >50m from the seller (Joshua). The 2 that were not were because in one case, there was no O ring fitted and in the second case the O ring was mis-fitted Basically with all divers, open the back, grease and refit the O ring, stick some grease in the crown and you are good to go I wear a watch all the time, including to shower and swim (3m). Reps can easily take this (I don't dive with my reps though, I wear my Christopher Ward C60's for that) Anyone near Heathrow UK that wants a watch checked, greased and depth tested just PM me S
  2. Put a thicker case back O ring in. Case back must be touching or pressuring something Or take some fine sand paper and rub the black case back over it to reduce the thickness of the sealing surface a little Also check the case back retaining ring o make sure its smooth and hasn't got a lump or something to push on the black back
  3. Yep, tighten the mounting plate screws that hold the mech in the case to make sure it inserted as far as possible. Also check the big screw holding the spinning weight in is tight Then check you have the o ring fitted Looks like back is touching the weight and stopping it spinning, does it run if you wind it. If so it's the spinner that's stuck. If winding doesn't work then the back is squeezing or distorting something in the mechanism
  4. Take a look at the christopher ward c60 trident. Genuine watch with the styling you like and superb quality for rep price
  5. Definitely sounds like the rotor is catching or something is loose
  6. Don't buy a cheap set, false economy. Get a good quality set with replaceabl= e tips and spares. Learn to sharpen tips as well. Bad screwdrivers mank up t= he screw heads
  7. I had this as well. Took the back off and tightened all the bridge, rotor and [censored] screws which were loose. Works fine now Loose screws were allowing the rotor to sit high and touch the case back when warm and expanded S
  8. I've found a pic of a 3 year old genuine thats a good match hand length and font size. Still a dodgy rehaut and date alignment. Its been rejected
  9. Thanks for all your help guys. She has passed up on it In fact she bought a Christopher Ward Coral Ladies instead for a 20th of the price S
  10. Yes, ladies model Don't know year I'm afraid, friend said jewellers said newish. Not current though
  11. Friend of mine has just been offered this at £3400 from a jewellers But rehaut letters looks shifted, date mag looks low, date high and font not so good to me. But I dont know this model at all.Bracelet has a hidden clasp not the normal oyster Any comments? Thanks Stephen
  12. Obligatory Wristy Which TD will rep it first?
  13. LOL. No AR, No Lume, No O rings, No screw in Crown, Miyota quartz However Micky is just stuck on face, so plenty of scope here to transfer mickey and hands to a cheap old rolex sub or similar for a very unique watch
