@GWP123 I Sure we are talking about a thicker gold plating here, and not 78% gold. Do the math. It would be a lot more expensive at the current gold price. 50 gr of gold is around 2000 usd, so this would be a steal.

He is asking 14.000 euros for it, because it needs the service. Service by authorized rolex dealer is around 800 eur, so im thinking its a good deal :-)

So After buying this watch from whoopy12, i just wasn't feeling the dial it came with. I sharked around for a while, and finally got around to buying this gen dial. It really makes the watch imo. Im super happy about it. Just felt like sharing my grail watch.

Well, i have the gen Beats studio. Im a producer and dj, and ive been using high quality headphones for the past 17 years, nearly every day. I can truly say the original beats studios really sound horrible. The build quality is really fantastic, but the units sound really bad. I cant even stand listening to them. So i guess the reps cant be much worse.

So i spoke to the guy at nah-piek in mbk. He was super friendly, but i couldnt get him to recomend a watch smith. Only thing he kept saying was "sec @12 no good. You buy sec@9, ha ha. I guess the original ROOs arent shifiting very well any more. Has anybody got any tips? I saw a few watchsmiths at mbk, but im not sure weither they are reliable. Cheers RKDk

Im going to be in bangkok for some months, and i was wondering if anyone knows of a good spot to get some watches serviced. Ive got a few ap roos that need some help :-) Im looking for a good watchsmith, and not a splash and dash job. Any advice of where to go?

Ive been wondering the exact same thing. Phong contacted me, and offered me a patek 3448 ( im guessing the one on his site), a lot lower than advertised. Allthough im tempted, i guess im just not sure how these watches hold up to the real thing. Also the resale value is none existing, since its a frankenwatch. Im going to be in bangkok for the next 3 months, maybe i should hop over to Vietnam, and have a look at the watches. If he will let me. Especially the 530 in gold, looks absolutely stunning imo.

ah well. just signed up for a look, and the prices are way up there. looks like really beautiful work though. especially on the pateks. that 18k newman looks insane too. i guess i just prefer frankens over the standart reps we see from our trusted dealers. i bought a rose gold franken patek of a fellow member, and its beautiful. does anyone know of any other sites that make frankens like that?

most beautiful part of this watch, is that the dial is not really black. in the sun, you can se that its a very dark brown. Such an amazing watch. The numbers are black though :-)
