  1. And the fading goes on and on... Replacement bezel ring takes ages because I combined the shipment with a new style rubber strap wich seems to be out of stock. As soon as I have the pieces I'll upload some pics of the bezel changing.
  2. Wanted to share this. Beautiful pics of the assembly of the Darkside of the moon. Will this ever be repped properly?
  3. 1. Winding is smooth, although it keeps winding while screwing tha crown tight. Never had that with a winding watch. Not a problem but have te be aware there's allways 5/6 more turns to come. 2. Time setting is smooth, no resistance or rough parts. A very little amount of play when turning from one direction to the other. 3. Rotor is solid, just the sound of it spinning, now play here. The wathc is solid and good. Misses approximately 10 seconds in 24 hrs but that's acceptable to me. I might take some time soon to adjust it. Very happy, only bezel fading is a disappointment. New ring coming soon together with new rubber strap! Both from Silix.
  4. Don't know, thougt I read it somewhere Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. Sputim, how is the matte coating holding up on your bezelring? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. KingAce, Silix Prime indeed, on the edge of loosing it's TD status I beleive but communication is flawless, very helpfull. Hope you'll find a nice orange PO. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. Very nice hazey, did the new one come without a pearl?
  8. Datearea is not reflection, looks weird. Indeed check the crown. Rest of it looks fine
  9. Pearl is inserted a bit high and lume in it is not the best. Planning to solve this with the new bezel insert.
  10. Yup, that was the first thing I noticed unwrapping it. Verzonden vanaf mijn C6603 met behulp van Tapatalk
  11. yup, got the problem too. waiting for a new ring to put in the bezel. I think it's quite hard to find the right paint or ink for this. after all, the cuffs of my clothes rub the surface all day. my former PO (not ceramic) never faded though. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk - now Free

  14. It's been 3 weeks now since I recieved my desired Omega Rep. Good and swift service by Silix (michelle) paypal payment and DHL shipment to Holland via UK. Very satisfied with look and feel. Had some trouble with turning the bezelring at first but since the excess glue came out between the ring and the case the ring turns very smoothly. One disappointment, the markings on the ceramic bezelring are fafing rapidly, (i'm aware of the dedicated thread) so I contacted the dealer and agreed on $30,– for a new insert wich I will replace myself and I will try to fix it with with a transparent coating to prevent wear. 15. Nice one! very crisp numbers and triangle on the bezelring. Hope it will stay that way. ordered a new ceramic insert for mine because of the fading numbers (3 weeks old) . Good luck with this one Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk - now Free
