  1. Welcome to the board. From ocean county myself. Be safe with all the snow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Should have left all original or purchased a new dial. Would have been worth 2-4k more with original dial / hands but I understand some do not like the worn look. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  3. exchange numbers and nip this in the bud ASAP. explain what a good deal he got and you would gladly sell to someone else when he returns.
  4. I'd keep him away from a paypal dispute at all cost. Offer partial refund or to get it polished.. If all else fails accept a return / fund. Hopefully he doesn't mail you a Pam 111 v3 back!
  5. gen crystal can get fit on a DW as stated above. bezel needs to be opened up and crystal needs to be shimmed as it is too loose on the rehault. I had 3-4 of em done in texas but others can do it.
  6. I have roughly 20k worth of my wifes jewelry through chubb and pay around $600 ayear. I feel that it is high. My home owners insurance wanted roughly 25% of the items value to cover jewelry / watchs. way over priced I looks at the estimates from jewelers mutual and it looks promising. may have to drop chubb and add my watchs.
  7. It is the depth of the recesses not the diameter I was referring too. Screw pushers fit in the 6239 case but did not have the length to reach the movement. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. You cant just swap pushers... The p302 screw type pushers require the case being drilled deeper than the plunger type pushers. If you only change the pushers the p302 will not be long enough to engage the chrono lever. Left - DW 6239 7750 Right - 6263 7750 cartel maybe?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. What is the price? thoughts.. the corrosion is between the crystal and the bezel. Hands can be swapped fairly easily. That insert is worth 1200-1600 alone.

  11. I use duct or packing tape. ether ball it up or wrap around your fingers to grip it.
  12. Option #1 - the NYC bezel is best bang for the buck. $125 but he buys and resells in batches. Have to wait for him to relist or find one m2m. http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-High-Quality-Bezel-Vintage-Rolex-Daytona-6263-Watch-/262682215137?hash=item3d291482e1:g:tYMAAOSwU-pXuxzQ Option #2 - Highest Qualty is Phong / Jenson. 14. Hello, picked up a vintage gen town bracelet that needs some work. The safety clasp was missing and needs to be replaced. Anyone complete this ? Looks like rivets with a spacer on the inside. Tc best suggestion for a donor ? Think M Young can make this repair ?
  15. I need the following.. Will prob just purchase of no one has a set up.. 1 - tap for 2.5mm 2 - Chrono tool for gen rolex pushers. See below. I have gen 24-p302 screw pushers. Star part measures 3.28-3.3mm Link.. http://www.esslinger.com/chronographtubetool333mm.aspx
  16. Hello, I need help with a daytona build. I removed the phong pushers and want to install gen rolex ones. I need the pusher tool and 2.50mm tap. Anyone care to loan me theirs? Looking to keep this conus. I have a Bergeon Water Proofer to loan in return!
  17. I'd ride this till the wheels fall off. If it stops then i would consider a gen movement. You'd want it to be manual to mimic gen, Swiss makes it a lot thicker.
  18. doesnt look bad for $50-100 but i'd rather have a phong or phong jr's big red dial.
  19. Why not just change the tube so you can use the left crown ?
  20. ahh breezed over the gmt dial... Will brazing on dial feet mess up a painted dial?
  21. just buy a yuki 3135 guys... why risk your investment in a expensive gen dial? 20 years from now that $500 dial might be $5000..
  22. Here is my Rep.. Im having a gen two tone gold dial installed and a gen movement. eye candy.. I have a 806 stainless but this stands out. original strap and buckle
  23. I bought one second hand and not really thrilled about ripping the clark / wm pearl combo out. The light color insert has grown on me and TC LV is def darker. I had asked TC about buying separately and said he does not have enough stock for single insert sales and just enough for complete Lv watchs at this time. He also said it would be listed on his parts page when he has enough to sell parts.
