  1. Here comes the semi-final sample, the dial lume is not ready, rubber strap has "NBA" missing, buckle not ready, please let me know if there is still need improvement.

Estimated release date is 15th April, will be available in both Asian 7750 and Swiss 7750 movement versions, watch maker has not quoted me the price yet.

Checked the lume as well, not as good as expected, already told the watch maker to improve it but I don't expect too much.

    Enjoy :-)

  2. Okay - I hope I don't have to spell out the inconsistency in these two sentences.

Sorry, the watch maker only supplies to 4 of us (online sellers), and the watch maker also sells to other people like some local dealer in US, Euro, etc, some online dealers may happen to meet these guys and these guy may sell a couple of watches to them, sorry for my English.

  3. Why did josh and andrew state that the steelfish was only available from the four of you, and that the price was set, and would not drop?

The SteelFish is made by the HBB maker, the maker only supplies to 4 of us and we have to sell at similar prices. Actually the maker will sell to somebody else and other dealers may happen to have one or two from other sources.

  4. Dear All,

After reading about 15 pages, I feel I have to explain something.

First of all, I was not being silent to this topic, I was told to see this topic only yesterday, because there was an unappropriate quote from a private e-mail between Tim and me so I contacted him to remove the content, I did not mean the content was not true but it was completely off-topic.

I don't know why you all call me one of the "cartel", "gang 4"? The B&R project was exclusive to Josh and Andrew, they did not sell me any, I see no point this reflects I am one of the gang 4.

I know them all, no one says competitors cannot be friends, but this only limits to "just to say hi", I just only say hi to them when I see them. I declear I have NOTHING to do with them with business (you may say I am another cartel but surely not one of them). In the earlier post that Tim had quoted a private converstation between us, I ship out my watches by the same courier as Josh uses, I take my watches to the courier to ship. The courier is my friend, sometimes I helped him to pack the watches and bring the watches from the market to his office, that's it!! I NEVR drop ship for Josh and Andrew. If I don't explain, many of you may think I was the drop shipper for Josh and Andrew but I AM NOT!! I say again I don't have any business relaationship with them.

But why was I being included into the Cartel? I guess you are talking about the prices... please take a look at my offerings and their web-site, I ammit some of them we are in similar prices but can it really judge me that I am one of them?

Would I remind you something? Do you remember about the Hublot Big Bang? Do you remember the conversation in the topic? I don't want to explain anything, I simply give you the link, if you happen to have extra time for learning more about me, please read:

    http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=17990

If you still agree I am one of the so called "Cartel" or "gang 4" after reading this, I will say nothing.

Something for your reference, I was the only authorised dealer of the Hublot Big Bang watch maker (when the HBB was released, I was the only one having this watch), Josh wanted to sell his watches so he contacted the watch maker for many times, the watch maker finally offered his watches to Josh but the watch maker asked us not to make a price war on his watches and that is why we are selling at similar prices only with the watches made by the HBB maker, for the new Ferrari, do we have the same price? And if I remember correctly I was the first one to mark the price.

I declear again I am NOT in any alliance and please don't keep saying that about me because I feel very upset by this word, ok?

If you do not understand anyting, I am willing to explain, please e-mail me at puretime2005@gmail.com because I don't have much time to keep looking at this post. But of course I will keep an eye on this post and any questions are welcome.

    Cheers,

    Angus

  5. Please don't expect too much on the lume, white lume is always less as bright as the green lume, even for the superlume.

Received superlume from a customer and I will try to lume it, if it is possible and I will convince the watch maker to use superlume for all production or at least for my production, heehee

The caseback will have a piece of REAL wood, no worries. and the serial number are copied from the real life, which mean the serial numbers do exist!

Will post pics once the dial bezel is ready.

For the rubber straps, please be noted the ruuber strap will be made by genuine rubber, which means they are not made by pouring melted "rubber" into a container and let it cool down, a very big ss mould will be made for this strap, if we need another length, another big ss mould has to be made as well, I am pretty sure the watch maker will not make the longer one and I think I am not able to convince him about this, but I will definately ask for you big wrist guys.

  6. The subdial has CONCENTRIC CIRCLES, sorry for the bad camera, the dial is deep blue, sorry for the poor white balance...

12 subdial markers not aligned, 12' markers crooked, 9' markers wrong in height, "cousteau divers" not bold enough and 6' marker should be in square, ALL THESE will be reported to the watch maker, thank you for your help!!

  7. No it can't, not without new hands, the hands are not interchangeable between the Asian and the Swiss...

And to add to that, the spacer ring will not fit, so you will need one of these, the stem will need to be replaced, the dial feet will need to be cut off and replaced or the movement glued to the ETA, then if that wasn't enough, the stem may not line up after all of that work...

Cheaper, and easier to install a Miyota in place of the asian copy.

    RG

    Rob,

I can supply all those needed for replacing the Asian 2813 movement to an ETA-2836, the Asian SF case is MADE TO fit the ETA-2836 movement.

But I simply don't suggest to do so because it will look the same as a US$168 SF after this modification, the AR treated sapphire cannot be installed onto the 2813 casekit as well.

  8. Finally the Steelfish surfaces! And it looks good. ( Cool with the depth rating..) :)

I suppose the Asian version has the same, ETA-type, datefont?

I just noticed that my new ultimate PO has almost identical font for the 6-9-12 on the dial... That number style must be in fashion at the moment!

As I don't have the Asian one on hand so I cannot check it now, they should not differ too much.

  9. At $450 a watch, he can hire less careless workers. That'd solve the problems. :D

Remember, you're selling the watches, not the factory: The buck stops with you, I'm afraid. :(

I think you are not very familiar with the replica production hirachy.

    The structures are:

Factories --> Watch Maker --> Dealers --> Customers

They are individual parties, the Factory produces watches with the information provided by the Watch Maker, there are varies factories involved in ONE watch production, the dial factory, case factory, crystal factory, hands factory, leather factory, bracelet factory, movement factory and finally the watch assembling watchsmiths. The HBB maker bought a genuine HBB for replication but the Factories still made many mistakes, that is why the Watch Maker has to QC everything.

For usual practice, only watch makers are involved in QC, but for this HBB, both the watch maker, dealer and customers are involved in QC, this brought us a more perfect watch, but not a 100% perfect watch, if this new practice is not taken place, the HBB would have been released with even more flaws.

Yes I am selling watches, I sell only the best watches in the market, that is why I want to make my every watch perfect before it releases. I just felt I did too much to stop your buck with me. I think you also took part in the HBB QC, please understand our situation, we never produce a watch with known flaws, the factory only produce what we ask them to produce, that is why our existance is very important.

Breitling SteelFish and Chopard GT are being released, all flaws have been reported to the watch maker and he had also informed the factory, I am 100% sure we can still point out minor flaw when the final watch is released but I think a 100% perfect rep will never exist, I am happy to wear a "near perfect" watch, do you?

  10. Dear Chad,

Thank you for pointing out the flaws, I will tell the watch maker about this.

I do know if you follow this project closely, I have posted the pics of this HBB a long time before it releases, people pointed out flaws and we tried our best to correct it.

Please do not think on your own way about what people do, you have to ask first, the watch maker and me are always trying to build a watch without flaws, the factory workers do not know anything, they have high-tech machinery but they are very careless, the watch maker work until 2-3am midnight for QC the watches. Can you guarantee you will discover all flaws by only yourself?

Please don't be offended, I just feel you are complaining in a wrong way. the reason I post prototype's pics here because I need all your help to make this perfect. I feel very sad to see your words honestly... take an example on the BCE, some forum members discovered the date window issue and the 12 o'clock printing issue right before the watch is being released, I reported this to the watch maker and he found this cannot be fixed with the existing dials, he had never thought of selling those to the market but he re-make all the dials.

I am pleased most of you are still supporting my work on replica production, Marco has about 5 mails a day concerning the HBB issues.

I am happy you can send me e-mails about the HBB flaws and we can work together to make more perfect reps in the future.

My e-mail is puretime2005@gmail.com in case you do not have.

    Cheers,

    Angus

  11. I am the only authorized HBB dealer for the forum market, I am pretty sure no dealer can afford a purchase more than 3 HBBs at this moment.

The HBB QC issues only occur on the first batch which shipped out on 24th December, all QC issues are fixed during the time, all my HBBs were returned to the watch maker to fix the issues and I now personally check every single HBB shipped from me.

If you guys can make up a group buy, I am happy to give you good price and good QC as well as warranty (I will pay for return shipping fee if you receive the HBB in defective condition).

I will have a Chinese New Year special prices for some of my new watches, HBB will be one of them, even the GB is not successful, you can still purchase HBB at great price, details please refer to my dealer section later today.
