  1. Hi, Thanks for that. I will contact Ssteel and Domi, see if they can help. To answer you question, yes the second time zone is settable, it works (or did) very well and keeps good time. Thanks Tom
  2. Hi All, I'd like some help / advice please. I recently bought a beautiful rose gold dual time power reserve replice. For a time it worked perfectly. Then the rotor fell off which was a simple fix to screw back on, then the rotor became a little stiff and the only method of winding was to hand wind. Now it won't wind at all...... When you try to wind it feels like there are some gears that are loose maybe. Can anyone tell me if this is a common problem with this type of watch. Who would be a good person / company to fix it for me? I'm in the London area and I'd love to get it working again. Even if I have to get a complete new movement I don't mind. Thanks all. Tom
  3. Thanks for the comments guys. I will let you know how it is in 4-5 months time. I have a small problem with it though, after the rotor fell of and the watch smith screwed it back on the rotor is very slightly tighter than it was before, it still rotates freely but not freely enough to allow it to self wind any more. Any ideas why this might be?
  4. I bought it from a market in Dubai. Everything works as it should, even the power reserve. Going to wear it on special occasions only I think. I am worried about the gold plate wearing thin too, although I was told it would not. Had several comments on it already and only worn in out a couple of times. I will check the logo on the face to see if it high or not.
  5. Hi, I'd like to share some pictures on my new AP dual time power reserve. Recently bought and was very pleased. The rotor fell of but it was a quick fix for a local watch smith. Does anyone know what movement it has? I'd like to hear everyone's comments. How long would a watch and movement like this be expected to last? In case anyone is wondering it cost 1,050 Saudi Riyal which is approximately £175 or $280. Comments please! Thanks Tom
  6. Hi All, I hope someone can help with this, I recently bought a beautiful Rose Gold AP dual time power reserve. It was perfect for a few days and then the rotor came loose. I have unscrewed the back and taken a look. The screw has come out completely and the rotor has completely detached itself. The screw holding in the rotor is so small I can't see if it is actually a screw or not. Is it some sort of press fit dowel? Can anyone give me some advice on how to fix this, is this a common problem on this movement? Thanks all. Tom
  7. Here are some photos, anyone know how to fix this? It is such a lovely watch I hope I can get it repaired!
  8. Dear All, I hope someone can help me with this problem. I recently bought a AP dual time power reserve which looks and feels great. Unfortunately the rotor has come loose after only a few days. I have unscrewed the back and had a look, problem is my eyesight is not good enough to see properly. Is the small blue retaining screw actually a screw or some sort of press fit dowel? Does anyone know how I can fix it, is this a common problem with these replicas? I'm in the London area if anyone knows someone who could fix it. Thanks everyone. Tom
